Marty, sorry man the picture does not help much, is that a curve or indention on the inside of the helmet? If your Cookie box is smaller, put the helmet on, stand in front of a miror, and put the lens at eye level or near it. This will give you an idea of where to mount the box. Atsushi lives in Hawaii and jumps at Pacific International Skydiving Center. I remember him making lots of jumps to prefect the self destructing "Skyball" so it would fall harmlessly to earth. I would recommend the zip-lock style underwater camera cover/bag. They are light, compress a little for storage in your bag and will protect the camera during rain or very damp weather. When I lived in Hawaii we would have canopy's go into the ocean all the time (well not all the time). We just made sure they were rinsed in clean water afterwards, we would soak them and agitate by had to try to desolve all salt, which when dry would damage lines and canopy. I do understand, and if I was a local I may very well have had my gear there, at least over night while in a campy. I hate people who steal anything, unless it is food to feed their family, and in that case if they would ask I would given them food. I am sorry for your loss, however; this brings up a point I make to friends all the time. Why do you leave your gear at the DZ? If it is stolen from my home I am covered, if it is stolen from the DZ, or the DZ burns down, or the DZ is vandalized, I am not covered!! Again, sorry for your loss.
