  3. Anyone have any shots from this competetion? I was too busy watching my girlfriend make out with another contestant that I forgot to take pics. Any help would be appreciated. Thx, -Trunk HYPOXIC
  4. I tried Gorillaz Ouragan ZP suit this weekend and it totally was dope. Previously, I was using the student suits and having worlds of trouble keeping afloat for extended periods. As you know I'm a pretty stocky guy 5'8" 195lbs. Since I need to pick up a tunnel suit (my freefly suit is 2 piece) I figured I might as well get a ZP. This at least gets me to a level field as lighter/taller guys. I must say after flying that suit compared to the student suits I was not nearly as tired nor sore as without. I'm wondering if anyone owns one of Tony's suits yet and can give some feedback. I'm thinking that there is probably only sponsers out there right now since it seems like a relatively new option. I could be wrong though.... Anyone actually purchase one of these suits? Thanks, Trunk HYPOXIC
  5. Anyone try/own a tony suit with the ZP option for the tunnel? They are around $200 cheaper than an ouragan suit. However the Ouragan suit seems to have been around for more time and a proven design. I flew a Ouragan suit for the first time this weekend and what a difference it made. Now I'm addicted....

    HyPeye

FYI: There is actually 12 electronic components, a microcontroller and a 2 layer pcb that makes up the HyPeye display. It is a lot more than it seems and that is one reason why its so neat. Trust me acquiring the parts, designing, writing the code, building and testing one on your own will cost way more than the $50 sales price. -Trunk HYPOXIC
  8. I just had lasik (Intralasik type) and was jumping within 2 weeks. Within 3 weeks the doctor said I could rub my eyes if I wanted to. I'm extremely happy with the intralasik since it seems a lot more stable than the standard method to cut the flap. I was wearing contacts that where -4.00 with an astigmatism and now have 20/13 vision in both eyes! Non paid plug, just happy about it: the guys I went with where barnet dulaney perkins in phoneix (www.goodeyes.com) HYPOXIC
  9. Yeah I looked into that, but seemed Amtrack only goes Rantoul to chicago in the morning and Chicago to Rantoul sometime in the afternoon. I tend to fly standby so I guess I get what I deserve... Hell wish I could just fly with the skydive arizona fleet next year :-P (barnhouse??????) HYPOXIC

    WFFC Pictures

Um... Good thing I'm not in any of those pictures.... especially the initiation pics and the ones in front of EG's tent.... don't want any incriminating pics out there incase I ever run for office. Ha.... can't wait for more to surface... -Tronco rodriguez (Trunk) HYPOXIC
  11. Don't know, I got drunk, did some golf cart rw, initiated a bumpy brother, oh and jumped a bunch. Yes the lack of manufacturers was kind of lame, but skydive store, PD and sunpath ganged up and made demos available. In addition Tony suits, EG and cypress made it there. I've been there three years in a row now and its getting smaller each year, but its still a good time. I would love to see scheduled ground transportation from midway and o'hare like twice a day. Flights are never a problem, but having to rent a car and/or find a ride always is my biggest dilemma. HYPOXIC
  12. I forgot I was doing a Rodriguez brothers initiation and got way too into it .... In front of a few hundred... -Trunk PM me if you got the pics.... HYPOXIC
  13. One small tidbit, the HC44/46 don't have LANC connectors. Don't know if that is important to you or not. -Trunk HYPOXIC
  14. More reasons not to have the switch... But then again I'm extremely biased! HYPOXIC

    HyPeye

Brains, I'll send you out a replacement right away. Our return policy is lenient and since we are in the states, the time to get a replacement is typically around 3 days. The Hypeye is encased in epoxy so it generally takes a lot of stress to make it fail. There is more to the HyPeye than just the brighter LEDs. For one, you don't have this narly switch to mount on your helmet. A lot of the camera cases have the switch accessible. For me and a bunch others, controlling the camera from there is just as easy as an external switch. Plus the HyPeye is less expensive than the Cameye II. HYPOXIC

    HyPeye

Guys, If you have any questions about the HyPeye I will gladly answer them in this forum. Deuce, I do believe I showed you a early model HyPeye during the holiday boogie this year, but nice try with the sponsorship . Oh and if people want to try it out. I'll have a few at Rantoul for demo purposes. -Trunk HYPOXIC
  17. Guys, Get Hypoxic makes a really inexpensive camcorder status indicator. They are starting to be sold around the country but right now you can buy them direcltly from the manufacturer. Check their webpage at www.gethypoxic.com. Currently some of the worlds best use them: Steve Curtis, Ash White (Arizona Airspeed) and Omar Alhegelan. Developing your own, although fun and a good learning experience, does take a while and ends up costing you more than buying one already developed and tested. 18. Man its been a while since I got that stupid in the Bent prop.... I can't hang anymore with you guys... Its been a while... Those Norwegians sure kicked my butt last night! "ballskin," Let me recoup, see u all in a few days... HYPOXIC
  19. Did 15 minutes this past weekend and I am soooo hooked... As if I was not in enough debt already. I was working on back flying in there and the size of the tunnel gave me a lot of room to "figure it out" without banging into a wall every two seconds. I don't have much total tunnel time, but I did like it a little better than the one in perris. Perhaps thats just because its in my backyard HYPOXIC
  20. Kap 3! ug.... never again. That 140 proof stuff almost got me right away. Great time at the Hellfish tent like always.... HYPOXIC
  21. Hey so it looks like I'm going to be renting a car. If anyone is flying into O'hare a couple hours earlier, supposily there is a bus/tram/the El (I have no idea)... that goes to midway, will be happy to fit a few more in the rental car. Will not setting on exacts until a couple days before or someone actually can pick my butt up/.... :-D HYPOXIC
  22. Hey anyone flying into or going to be around Midway airport heading to rantoul on the 5th around 10:00pm? I am probably meeting up with my buddy during that time and either A) Renting a car (so can split some of the cost) B) Looking for a ride Let me know, Thanks, Trunk HYPOXIC
  23. Yeah it was a good show. I'll try get a DVD burned and float it around. Anybody else get worried about the high video guy during the tandem openning. Seemed like a really bad place to be. Maybe I'm just a wuss or he had his camera more zoomed than I'm used to? It was neat to see how PD really makes their stuff. Never seen that before. HYPOXIC
