    On the CRJ if I remember correctly it was 5 degree difference between the 2 would give you the message. I miss the old CRJ sometimes. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    Yeah! It should have said "To low gear". I noticed that the nose gear doors were open so that has my mind racing to what the hell happened. Those come open when the gear handle is lowered. I want to say something mechanical but I do not know the ERJ very well so I will wait until the NTSB comes back with there findings of the CVR.     I know! I will miss it and all the fun and great vibes down there. I wish I could get out of this class but it was a hard one to get in to and they are not very many of this specific one. I hope for a safe week for everybody and J, do some freakin jumps man! It's a boogie and it's no fun when your working on the ground all day. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    When you say attack, does that mean it just started for no reason or where you around loud noise for a longperiod of time. I have never had it "just happen" without a reason. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    Are they talking about the same kind of ringing I get sometimes after long exposure to loud noise? I get that ringing sometimes. Even thought I wear my earplugs. It usually goes away after a few hours. But sometimes it hangs around for a day. Never had it last longer than 24 hours. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    Sorry guys! I have school for work that week and cannot make it. It is a bummer and I will miss it. I will be thinking about all the fun everybody is having while I am sitting in a damn classroom for 3 weeks. Everybody be safe and enjoy the vibe.     So last night when I was at work I had to suffer through 3 hours of this guys ramblings about how we get screwed every time we buy gas and he said something I was wondering was just a myth or true. He said a guy back in the 70's designed a carb that could get 100mpg. But the oil companies bought the pantent and shelved it. I was wondering if it is true or just some loud mouth on a rant. I never responded to anything he said because I have never heard of such a thing and when I Googled it I still didnt get a clear answer. Is it even possible to get something like a 100mpg carb to work? If so why hasnt so geek designed the damn thing. If it is true why cant the Govnt just take the damn patent and say it is the matter of national security. Hell they seem to take everything else I dont see what one more thing would hurt.     I am sad to say that I will have to take my name off the list. Some stuff has come up and I am unable to get the time off. Plus my wife might be getting a different job in Colorado so I might be moving AGAIN! Damn I wonder if Penske has a frequent renter card. I hope everybody has as much fun as I always did at SF and be safe down there. They have a great safety record for this and I would hatefor that to get tainted.     What more can I do? I got rid of my big 4x4, sold my gas sucking boat, I dont drive as much, I have starter buying produce from the local market, my wife mass commutes, I got all those expensive light bulbs, try to use less power, I havent jumped in sometime now, I car pool with another guy to work. What more can I do? I am almost to the point now where I might as well go live in a fucking bubble! I would love to use less gas. But I cannot buy what is not out on the market. I would love to buy a car that got 80 mpg but I cannot spend $80,000 for the damn thing or dont want to have to use a shoe horn to get my ass out of it. I would love to have a $10 electric bill but I need light and have to cook dinner, and have heat. So please tell me what else I can do besides live in a closet and I am all ears.     You would be surprised of the list of stuff that we cannot transport on aircraft but those items are installed on the aircraft. It's a long list. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    I would ask that you go to the passengers that were on one of our 777'S about 6 weeks ago that blew the engine on takeoff if that senior pilot was worth the salary he makes. With all of the cutbacks a lot of us in the airline business have seen with pensions and stuff like that I think most deserve what they get at the moment.
