Instead you keep trying to turn it into what side I am on or whatnot. If you must discuss what side I sit on I will start a new thread just for you and you can go at it. I cannot give any advice on saving plants. Everything I get dies. I put some of the wifes plants outside the other day so they could liven up a bit when it was warm when the sun was out. Then I forgot about them and we got a frost that night. OOOOPS! Man my wife is still pissed at that. I have a living room full of plant that look like they should be in a hospice. I'm not from the Detroit area, I had no idea they were a republican paper considering Detroit is a fairly lefty city. A lot of unions and such. But thats besides the point. If I wanted to say I hated DEMS I would come straight out and say it. I dont care who they are as long as they dont come up with bullshit ideas like this one. You know Bill this all sounds good. But a lot of the E-85 engines really dont any better fuel mileage than the regular engines. So what I see is when I go to fill up is I still just went 350 miles on 15 gallons of gas that cost $2.70 gallon. What I want to see is 50 -60 miles a gallon. Is it possible to do that and still have enough or big enough engine to pull a boat or haul some stuff in the back of a pick-up truck? If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Michigan State Police begin layoffs, reassignments LANSING -- Twenty-nine Michigan State Police troopers and two civilian employees have been notified they will be laid off next month, the agency said Wednesday. The layoff notices were issued Monday, spokeswoman Shanon Akans said. Another 87 employees were told Wednesday that they could be demoted, dropped to a lower pay rate or assigned to a new post, she said. The moves are meant to eliminate a $13.6-million deficit in the state police budget for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30. The layoffs alone will save $2.3 million, and the department also expects to save $2.5 million by canceling a 50-recruit trooper training school that was to have begun in August, Akans said. The department has laid off employees only once before, in 1980, she said. The layoffs will drop the number of on-the-road troopers below 1,000 for the first time in more than 30 years, the Michigan State Police Troopers Association said when the cutbacks were first announced in February. *** Seems to me they have there priorities in the wrong area. I believe it was on the north end of the site that there is a fence with a lot of pictures with a time line of the events that day. Tourist come by to see the sight. I was there 2 weeks ago. My mom came out to visit and I took her down there when we were in the city. I did see a lot of emotion there. Some crying, some anger, some in just utter awe. It's kinda hard to imagine the amount of damage and the size of it until you see it in person. All the debris is gone but on some of the neighboring buildings. The scrape marks on the concrete buildings. For my mother I could tell it got to her and she was moved in several ways. For me, I also had a lot of different emotions going. Anything from anger to just total disbelief of the amount of damage that was done by these assholes! I get a reminder of it almost everyday since I moved up here and started this new job back in october. I work about 500 feet away from one of the gates that United 93 departed from. Although it didnt hit the WTC it still brings back memories of that day and all of the peoples lives who where cut short that dreadful day.
