Finished up the requirements for my A on Sunday. I am now free to move about the country. So look out everybody, you never know where I might pop up. That B license better start counting its days!! Did every good BASE jumper start out skydiving? I have seen all the posts about minimums before trying BASE. I am going to get more canopy experience through skydiving don't get me wrong. But hasn't there been jumpers that went straight into BASE. I don't want this labelled as a troll post. So i am just going to read the replies and not respond. Believe those who are seeking truth. My thoughts got ahead of my typing speed. Not hard to do in my case. I meant to add on a regular basis. My goof. This is my last post on this subject. I do believe a private company has the right to do what every they feel like. If you don't like the way they do things then don't go there. But don't say you are doing something for reasons your not. If you know someone is unsafe then confront them. If it is because of drugs or stress or anything. Everyone at the DZ is responsible for safety. If you see something that you feel uncomfortable with bring it up to management. If they don't do anything about it don't get on the plane. The final decision for your safety is you. After you get off student status you are probably going to start some RW stuff. You will probably just exit the plane and get stable and become base. Since I have been of student status thats mainly been what I have been doing. On jump number 9 we attempted a 12 way bfr. It turned out just to be an 8 way. I think we would have made it if it wasn't for the fact we had to exit a couple thousand feet lower due to clouds. It is really cool seeing that many people in the air, and see them flying up to you. I have done a few 4ways too. On one of them we attempted a couple of points. We only got one cause of me. I let my legs get lazy and I drifted out of the formation when we let go. I have done one solo jump. It was kind of lonely on the way down. All I can do at this point is fall stable and turn and track. I think like you said after you get some more jumps in you will start to see where you want to go. I want to freefly, but I want to get really proficient at belly first.
