    Are you saying the military lied? Just becasue a civilian rigger didn't look at it does not mean they were wrong...But since you were there if you have more info let me know....But it sounds like a rigging error that fired the reserve by the RSL to me....No RSL not a problem. But then again a good gear check or the proper gear would have fixed this as well. Go back to my theory about if you don't need it, and it can cause problems...don't take it. More gear is more possible problems...You know this you test jump stuff. I did not say anything you have written down. You come up with things out of the blue. No the military did not lie. They did not say anything, and the rest was speculation on the part of the civilian jump community. Then you jump in and say it sounds like a rigging error. How did you come up with that in a dream.     I have known Ben and Diane since they bought the airport in the late 70's. Jump prices were $9.50 or $10.00. When they started they had substantial holdings in rental property in So. Cal. There was no grass, concrete, plowed landing area and the only services was a porta potty. Slowly they started adding things from flush toilets to otters. Its not a bad place to jump now. Two I was there that day and the Navy personnel took the gear and an investigation was not conducted by a civilian rigger. All there is is speculation. Three If the reserve handle was pulled at the same time what does this one prove? Four That was a riser release problem not an RSL problem. Five & Six Have nothing to do with RSL's, why are they listed? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

    Jerry, They don't like to pack in the heat. Their canopies are both 370 sq. ft. 7 cells, open nice at altitude, 30,000+. Their helmets are probably HGU-55's if they are gray. They run about $650/$700 with com. I use a HGU-33 which has a retractable visor and custom paint, thank you AERO.
