    The biggest road block is the suit. Without the suit, no jump. The people who make the suits won’t sell them to civilians so you must have the AF or Navy or the Government as a sponsor.     The lines with slider stops have the stop at the bottom of the stablizer just like every other canopy. The flair has nothing to do with it. It seems you may be making an issue where there isn't one. See attachment My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

    There have been misfires, right? Zipp0 There has not been a cypres "misfire" that I have heard about. What people often call a "misfire" is when the cypres fired when they did not want it to. But they put the cypres in is "firing envelope" and it did just what it was designed to do. Since you have yet to make a jump I would say that yes this “Is this an unreasonable fear?” There are many other things that you should be focusing on in order to complete you first jump successfully.     The MA1 is used primarily in military back and QAC air crew systems. The newer air crew system being used by both the Air Force and the Navy no longer uses the MA1.     The way I read it the only time a PEP is required is when doing aerobatics with a passenger who is not a crewmember or when required by an STC 91.307 Parachutes and parachuting. (c) Unless each occupant of the aircraft is wearing an approved parachute, no pilot of a civil aircraft carrying any person (other than a crewmember) may execute any intentional maneuver that exceeds— (1) A bank of 60 degrees relative to the horizon; or (2) A nose-up or nose-down attitude of 30 degrees relative to the horizon.     he still needs 200k € for the jump, apparently postponed to september already. He would charge for a reply... He is the funnest subject in french skydiving. A bit like Lutz in the US.
