Blah blah blah. Blah blah blah. We've been over this more than a few times. Use the search button and resurrect one of the old threads if it's important to you. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

My God! You didn't just say that, did you? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Exactly! I shut it off halfway through, but then reloaded it expecting to see them go after the Left side of the aisle, too. They didn't. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Hardly. JibJab has been taking shots at BOTH candidates and they're doing it in a humorous way. The film presented here doesn't do that. Hell, there are a million one sided shorts like this one, but they'll never be as entertaining as the JibJab shorts. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

We have a penal system, we have to pay for it somehow. When the alternative to corporate welfare is having companies lay off tens of thousands of people, I think that corporate welfare might be a good, short term fix. The examples above contribute, on some level, to the well being of our society. I don't understand how federally funding abortions could do the same. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Why should government fund abortions? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

People in the UK believed that they were 60 miles from Iraq? To think that they say education in the US is in trouble! - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed. -

Kerry wasn't running the last election. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed. -
That in itself is appalling to me. Why? That's exactly the way it should be. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Are you sure about that? I haven't seen the debate yet, but have spoken with a few people who said that Edwards did exactly that. I've been told at one point that the moderator had to remind Senator Edwards that he failed to answer the question posed to him. Anyhow, I'm hoping to find the debate online somewhere and will post my thoughts after I've watched it. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Dropzone.com is, I believe, lending a helping hand to the true owner of the videos by preventing direct download. It's likely that most of what you find on dropzone.com is also available on SkydivingMovies.com. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

I can't comment on the Alti-1 or Alti-2, but I've got an Alti-3 and can tell you that it's absolutely indestructable. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

You are missing the point. The government also consumes goods and services, and employs a considerable amount of people. Less tax revenue means that the government has less money to spend on defense contracts, roads, schools, office supplies, etc. So now you have more money to spend on goods and services, but the government has less. It all balances out, and there is no net economic gain! Why didn't you quote his ENTIRE response? Here, I'll do it for you. Not necessarily... more people spending money for themselves means more goods and services are consumed, and therefore more are produced... which means more people are employed (and on the tax roles)... so the government takes less from each person, but from more people... more tax revenue. With this I think it's fair to say that either you are missing the point or you're simply here for an argument. Which is it? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

I just read a post in the Incidents forum that had little information except that someone got hurt from a low turn. Every time we get a post like this there is the inevitable follow up (I did it this time) for more information, canopy type, size, weather, traffic, etc . . . Could we have some mandatory fields before a new (initial) post is submitted to the forum? Maybe have the information from those fields included in the post in report form? It would likely cut down on the chatter and also serve as a reminder of what the forum is really about. I noticed a nice example here. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. No such thing..... If there's no such thing as a reputable media source, where do you get information about what's going on in the world? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Sounds like a cowards way out to me. Responding to Ron: While I find the burning of the American flag in protest to be absolutely disgusting, I do, whole heartedly, support their right to burn it. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Yes, he's one of the maybe three people I was referring to. The study was incomplete. Please go back and count the occurances in the last 60 to 90 days and let me know who used it and in what context. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
