One that will make you both groan and laugh. A must for the skydiver collection you've started here: Mystery Science Theater: The Skydivers Quotes: Mike Nelson: Did the actors do their own skydiving? Crow T. Robot: No, the skydivers did their own acting. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

What are you crazy! Did you see the Alaskan COLD front that's hit the U.S. of A?!! Went for 2 hop-n-pops and only ended up doing one. The pilot didn't check their load sheet and ended up dumping me out at 9k. I wanted a hop-n-pop damn-it, not freeze my *$ off! Was so frozen after that one that I packed up and hit the bar to warm up! Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Flashback! Bought a house back in 1989 that had an old oven that looked very similar to your friend's. It wouldn't keep the correct temperature (varied all the time during the cooking cycle, so you -never- knew when your roast was going to be done). We had to keep an oven thermometer in it and check every few minutes to see what needed to be adjusted. Best thing we ever did was to chuck the thing and get a new oven installed.

I think he qualifies as the first skysurfer to lose his board during the jump and get back together with it. Still, JT should probably stick to swooping. That makes me laugh out loud every time I view it. Bet the judges were laughing their asses off when the video was downloaded for the first time! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yeah but MINE has the video attached. Look at the article date. Squeaks is from January 10. I waited and got the video scoop with today's article (January 11). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

A skydiving friend told me he heard about this yesterday. A co-worker (wuffo) asked me about it today. Looks like Scott Smith found a new way to make it into the media! (his last 'stunt' was riding another skydiver as his skyboard at our 2006 USPA Nationals when his board had to be cutaway and was lost). Video on the web site. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Sounds like the media made their first and only mistake in doing that. I believe these are two completely different incidents. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Okay, maybe I'm not the geek I thought I was, however I didn't know that the original bionic woman (Linsey Wagner) got her bionic parts after being injured in a skydiving accident?! http://www.tv.com/story/7844.html News to you? Anyone see the episode (or was it just referred to in the series)? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yes, in general we do. In these two cases, however, the woman continue in health long after their husband's health began to fail. Why is that? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Just watching a replay of President Gerald Ford's funeral which was conducted this morning in our Nations Capital. I'm watching the bravery of Betty Ford, a wonderful woman who started the revolution of what the 1st Lady stood for. She didn't hide the fact that she battled breast cancer and stepped up to welcome the world into the White House. The camera panned across the congregation and caught Nancy Reagan. Another wonderful woman who loved her man deeply as well. These women, to me, embodied the fullness of what a true union and mate really are. Standing by their man and standing tall for human kind. I admire them both. They are now surrounded by their wonderful children, raised to be leaders in their own right. However, the thought struck me that these caregiver women have both outlived their mates. Is there something that keeps these astounding woman going? Why is it that women live longer (on average)? Is it our lifestyle? Is it our strength? Is it in our genes? Is it a giver-caretaker personality? Gerald Ford rests in peace now. Betty's strength will continue on. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

So what kind of digital camcorder to buy??
ltdiver replied to markovwgti's topic in Photography and Video
If you're shopping at Best Buy, consider this Sony miniDV camera. That is if you're wanting to use it on your head (skydiving) next year (or whenever you get 200+ jumps and enough experience to do so). http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7603024&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat91400050050&id=1130982553013 ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
