Okay. Little silly thing...is the 'copy-protect' tab slid over on the miniDV tape you're using? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

What video camera do you have? Some do not allow DV-IN. They only allow output. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

That thought crossed my mind as well. Who's to say she didn't and they put that take on the cutting room floor? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Looks like Rook -must- have been shoveling ALOT since those pictures were taken earlier this month! Lookie here: No snow. Sun is shining. So, where are the Otters? Where are the people for the loading area? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Thanks, Laurie! I'm hoping to find cheap foam, but I haven't yet. Good luck on the 'cheap foam'. I thought I could do the same, but failed to find any that fit the description. If you have better luck let us know.

Val, I got the foam for my dz trailer at an upholstery shop. They had to special order it because of the odd size I needed to fit in the trailer (83" x 47" x 6" ). Make sure you get the right density, too. Tell the upholstery shop what you'll be using it for and they'll steer you right.

No update yet? Hey Rook! Whadda ya doin' over there? Shoveling snow? SDC WebCam. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Personally, I save PSD's (and original JPG from camera, of course) and only render a JPG when I need to use it for something. And I'm sure you just worded it wrong, but opening (reading) and closing a JPG will not recompress it. Only re-writing it will. Yes, PSD is a very good form for saving as well. It's just that some [cough]publishers we know don't have Photoshop and I've found that they can't open PSD files. And yes, you are correct that opening/closing a .jpg file won't recompress it. It just degrades it ever so slightly each time to where if you do it enough will make it look like crap. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Interesting read. When I was forced to run in school (yes, forced...I HATED it) I would get these horrible side-stitches (or cramps) within the first few minutes. I never knew how to get rid of them and would have to just drop the pace and walk the rest of the way. We used to have to run every other day for this P.E. class and I found that if I drank -any- water that day (even for breakfast) before that late morning (or was it afternoon?) class I would get the side-stitch. If I abstained from liquid the stitch would not happen. My cure, but what did I know? The other reason I hated running is that my throat would close up and thick mucus would form and make it hard to breathe. Thinking back, now, it might have been exercise induced asthma? Don't get it skydiving, but hey...all we do is fall, right? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Another helpful hint. ALWAYS keep your original. Save a resized or alter photo with another (and descriptive) title with what you've done to it. Helps when trying to relocate it again when you want another print. :^) Also, since you're going to play with Photoshop....when you save a newly altered file save in .TIFF, not .JPEG. Better quality, with less compression. Doesn't degrade as quickly either with each time you open and close the file. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yeah. For myself I put one -day- on a page. Unless something pretty important happends. That might get a page of its own. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Something that one of our TM's does is to get his student to write something on that page of his logbook before leaving. Each jump has its own page. This way he saves having to write anything himself and he's gotten quite a few interesting comments from his customers ta boot. That, and dates on the start/end of tapes really helps with the book keeping. I even slate each day before the first jump just so I have that catalogued for future reference. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I'm -thinkin'- that if they say they're starting on the 8th then it's wheels up early that same morning. Better be there on the 7th for the draw.

This forum looked pretty lonely the past few days so thought I'd feed it.

Everyone. The dog is in good health. Yes, he is in the backyard by himself and he may be barking because he is lonely, but perhaps his owner is one who has 3 jobs to make ends meet? My dog lives outside as well and comes in only when I am home. Some dogs are inside dogs. Others are outside dogs. No harm, no foul either way. Thank you for the information on the bark repressor unit, LouDiamond. It looks like you've come upon the solution I'm looking for. Since my dog doesn't bark it won't be a problem. The little yipper and this doberman sure could use it, though. Then about the mother-in-law....good luck there! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Dogs. I live on a dirt road. Right where the roads intersect is a triangle of sand. It is the local litter box. You can't turn that corner without some cat hunched over. "Could you turn those headlights away? I'm poopin' over here." If you go through it, you get cat poo in your tire treads. It thumps on the underside of the wheel wells. Kids at the school bus stop don't stand real close to the road. I can understand a 'sand box' for kitties, but why a neighbor's lawn? We can't figure it out. Don't cats like to bury their stuff?!? btw, the back lawn is fine (where my dog is). It's the front lawn that is vulnerable. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

"music student from Texas" "This one time... at band camp... we put duct tape..." Duct tape is like The Force. It has a dark side and a light side and it holds the world together! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Interesting. Have to check it out. Thanks. -My- backyard neighbor has a little yappy chiuahua that yaps all the time they have it outdoors. Freakin' annoying (really don't like little yappy dogs). The only saving factor is that when the dog is outside, so are the owners and they stop the dog when it starts up. Maybe your device would work on this dog too. Now to find a miracle device that stops my -other- neighbor's cats from pooping on my front lawn! (yeah, I know...it sounds like I live on a farm, huh?) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
