Think the hotel is going to have to replace all their windows with a better grade of glass. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Fun plane to fly! Flew one from Redlands up to Santa Barbara one Sunday last year. You have to be a contortionist to climb in that thing, though! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Was actually considering the need for this 'armor' this weekend for the first time. Our school just went completely digital this year and I'm using my 300D. The camera has worked great on every fun jump I've taken it on the past couple of years, including yesterday. However, it was -really- cold at altitude yesterday. Not sure if it was the cold or what, but the battery showed that it was about to die (on a fully charged battery). This was on the way up and at altitude, but when we got back down (where it was warmer) the battery said it was fully charged again. No harm, no foul, but it really had me worried. On a fun jump I wouldn't care if the battery went out. On a paid jump, a tandem's first experience of freefall, it would really suck if that happened. You think the cold had anything to do with this? You think the 'armor' would prevent this at all? Or, if it -was- the temperature...is cold just cold no matter what you do (other than putting the camera in your jumpsuit to keep warm). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Well said. One has to remember who their target audience is, not the ones who are already on their side. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

How would you make a Panasonic DV fly safe?

200 jumps is the *minimum* recommendation. The tandem manufacturers recommend between 300 and 500 jumps. A couple of tandem instructors at our DZ won't jump with you without at least 400 and them having seen you working them from a distance at first. And some DZ's won't let you fly camera with their tandems unless you have your AFFI. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Pretty sure he has the medical condition called Graves' Disease. A pretty severe form of hyperthyroidism that attacks the immunse system and the eyes. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Cartoons? You got to watch tv? Me, I got sticks and rocks to play with (outside). However, after school I'd sneak over to my best friends house and we'd eat popcicles (which, btw, we -also- didn't have at my house) and watch Speed Racer.

Gardens are nice. Just replace your lawn with veggies, fruits, nuts and a cow or two and you'll be set. And like someone else said, can (and freeze) in preparation for the winter and you'll be completely set! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Glad you're going to see an ortho doc. This is definitely nerve in origin. Could be vertebral (as others have stated here). Could also be from the shoulder, or elbow, or hand. There are areas in each of these that can pinch a nerve down. Could be skeletal, inflammed muscle, or angry connective tissue. Any (or all) of these can pinch or inflame a nerve. A good ortho doc can diagnose the proper reason for the symptoms. A chiropractor may be able to help after that. My vote is for physical therapy (go figure

If you carefully look at the video quade posted, frame by frame, you can see that the car actually bounces. ltdiver That would be proof that the video doesn't show a car landing after a 4000 ft freefall. Even if it did bounce a little, it would be flattened first. Well, okay...the car parts go everywhere, but you can see the tire lift off the ground just a bit (underneath and behind the driven car). The flattened car (behind) does not rise back up itself. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
