Are you serious? Just go rent the movie "Fandango" (by Kevin Reynolds), or if you want the shorter version, "Proof" (also by Kevin Reynolds). (psst. It's a cult favorite of skydivers). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

In your debrief, what did Angus say? He'd be the best one to give you input since he was there.

"The gay latin lapdancer" gone. If the trend continues it'll be the Polynesian girl next. Think about it. Who left last week (he had a rotten x-mas message to his family on youtube that was exposed). This week, another 'revealed' Idol. Next week it'll be Poly---well, she was part of the 3 'exposed' in the news with her hands all over another girls boobies. Hey, at least it kept us entertained and away from all the negative news this week. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

It's always more fun when you feel you're successful in a skydive and a coach (or mentor) who has more skill than you can make this happen. If a skydive doesn't work out then it tends to be boring (after the thrill of doing your own solos wears off). This is normal with anything in life. As you grow in the sport you'll go one of two ways (IMHO). You'll continue to get coaching and angle towards competitions (or big-way records)....OR you'll develop friends who just want to go up and have fun together (competitions and records be damned). Either way you're developing and having fun. Otherwise you'll go the third way...which is quit. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Look at the red entries on post #19. These DO take SkyRide. Now look at the plain text in post #39. These DO NOT take Skyride. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Pretty spot on review there! Nice word-plays too. Where I differ is your "Skunk girl". Was last night the first night she actually smiled?! Finally she came into her own with that piece last night. I didn't like her, nor her song choices, until last night. She surprised me. Chikizie was also a great surprise. Like he said, I thought he was going home last week. Glad he didn't! That performance last night was the best of the bunch, IMO. Hope he keeps the quality up. He'll be in the final 5. Sadly he won't go any further 'cause it appears his home-fan-base seems to be too small. He's been in the bottom 2 too many times. Dread lock Boy: Loved him in the first 2 weeks, but lately his 'innocence look' has gone by the wayside. He enjoys himself up there, but his simplistic approach has gotten old. Young Smiley Boy: LOVED him the weeks before this. Alot of raw talent. VERY disappointed in him last night. It seemed that he didn't put any effort into it. Sad, really. Unless he picks himself up next week he'll be gone soon. Bad Hair Emo Boy: Change the hair!! Liked his rendition last night, but come on....quit plastering your hair down to look like a 3rd grader that never washes his hair! The rest of the reviews you gave were spot on.

My dog is now reverting to that behavior, now that she's almost 15 years old. She's an outdoor dog, except when I'm home and up. She goes out at night, but when she's in I don't always catch her in time anymore. Just decided to count the blessings of her being with me still. She's a sweetheart and if this is her only vice it'll have to slide. She's one of the best dogs I've ever owned. Had her since she was only 10 weeks old. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Must be a fairly recent photo, too. That's "Super Blue" following the SkyVan there. Very cool visual. Especially for the base, 'eh? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Almost thought it was a NSFW bit of kitten killing you were posting with that comment. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

That's pretty funny! Here's Bill Cosby portraying walks of a different variety. (and perhaps something that skydivers can relate to?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYsko_tc3a0&feature=related ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Most 1 hour photo places around here offer a CD of your 35mm prints for a small extra fee. As to the mix of 35mm and digital at the same DZ....perhaps it should be 100% of one and none of the other to help avoid the negative reaction from the wuffo's. If ALL can't go digital, nobody does. Or...the non-digital don't jump until they upgrade. Might be a bit harsh, but that's they way we did it at Perris...for this very reason. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

First let us welcome you to the sport. It's a life changing experience. Next, it's a bit premature to be looking for equipment, since you've yet to even make your first jump. Be patient while you continue your beginning education. When you start your student training let your Instructors guide you in what is best for -you-. Everyone is an individual and it'll be your instructors who will know you best. Let them lead. In the mean time, have a look at this page to start your education. http://www.dropzone.com/safety/resources/handbook/gloss2.shtml Have fun. Be safe. And PULL!
