  1. Interesting happening on my way back from SDC and Nationals last week. The commercial flight we were in, on our way home, was just 45 minutes into the flight and already at its cruising altitude of 31,000' for 30 minutes when my dytter went off! It is an older style dytter (the one with the little brass dial that you can rotate around to set the 'approximate' altitude it will sound at). It was in my camera helmet, in my camera bag under the seat ahead of me. So, why did it go off at such an ungodly altitude? Made my eyes grow wide, but nobody else seemed to notice. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  2. Welcome to the forum, T1!! Thanks to quade also, as I'm sure he extended the invitation. I, for one, was relieved and very happy to see Omniskore at SDC for Nats. Thanks guys for providing a wonderful service! You ROCK!! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  3. Oh, hardiharhar! Are you coming to the Boyz Ways, Shark??!! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  4. Yeah?!! Thought mine would be the only one with 3 shades of pink! Glad to know they'll be others in the same boat (ah, plane )!! And yeah, BevSuit ROCKS! Ordered my suit -just- before leaving for Nationals less than 2 weeks ago! Wow!
  5. Hey skybytch and hottamally! Just got home and found THE package on my front doorstep! Yeah, it is sickenly pink! But I love it anyway 'cause we're in the E-Ticket plane next month! Whoo-Hoo!!!
  6. Wanna try that Cessna exit again, Paul? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  7. Another HUGE congratulations on your 10-way team, TFX, coming full circle and up there on the medal stand! How fitting and appropriate. Did you see all of us giving you a rousing standing 'O' up there from the balcony? It was a real delight seeing the Otter Chaos Team getting so excited over a circle of frogs on Friday night as well!
  8. Gawd! Didn't know just how many skydiving t-shirts I owned until starting to pack for SDC's Nationals this past week! My whole suitcase was full, and there were still drawers of the buggers still filling the dresser! Counted 47 skydiving t-shirts! From teams past, to supporting other's teams with finacial contributions, boogies, years of past Nationals, my home DZ's favorites (Endless Summer), my student DZ's shirts, etc etc etc! Maybe Roger had something with including a sweatshirt for all National's competitors instead of the traditional t-shirt! Favorite of mine? A white 'Skydog Skydiving' t-shirt that has the ground impression of a dog having just gone in with the caption "BAD DOG! NO PULL, NO BISCUIT"! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  9. Mind? Not at all! I'm stoked with my slot. I dock on a yellow suit which means finding my slot is a lot easier than for those who are surrounded by... pink. I'm docking close to the base which means I won't need to worry too much about going low. I'm the start of a four way line, and I'm the anchor for a five way line... which means it's pretty important that I be there and that I fly my slot well. Hey Lisa! We're on the same plane! E3 here! Jumpsuit should be here soon! Perhaps we can go up and do some jumps next weekend together! You going to the Derrick-ways? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  11. Fantasitc pic! Using your new D60 for this one? Flying into Ontario airport last night it was amazing that the city lights were not obstructed by haze of any kind! From clear skies as SDC to clear skies in Southern CA?!
  12. Yeah, AZ Vengence was my choice as well. Looked they'd do it last night when the 7th round was completed! Boy, can those men fly! :^) Was able to sit with several of the team's wives and mix it from the other side during the event. Their kids were into it too!
  13. Don't forget your Dallas team, "Ramming Speed"!
  14. And to do it against a very formitable opponent, Angry Beez, with a tie in the 11th round as well! They had to involk the 'fastest round' rule to separate the 2 teams at the end of the day. Yes, congratulations Nemesis! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  15. You should be here tonight! Wow, the beer's flowing and the bar's packed to capacity! 4-ways done and 8-way starts tomorrow....

  24. Great to meet you and the rest of the gang there betsy! Sorry that I had to concentrate on the big-way formations all weekend long. Would loved to have jumped with the group. After October my schedule is free, so hope to join you in Eloy for some fun then!
