    The default auto time out is just fine at the 2 minutes. The camera will shut off, but then will wake up the second you activate your remote trigger release (i.e. I use the tongue switch). I 'shoot' one or two frames in the plane just before exit to activate the camera (turn it back on) and the camera is ready to play again. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

    Sorry, didn't look at the date. Yes, it is true that alot of friends from his home club in St Andrews attended the service.     I had a friend who came with me for my first jump (support, you see). It was supposed to only be one tandem....well, the rest is history, 8 years and over 1900 jumps later.... Well, she saw how much I enjoyed my first jump and kept saying that 'If she had the money, she'd make a jump too'! Imagine her surprise when she opened her Christmas gift! A fully paid tandem gift certificate! She made the date for the jump....drove out to the DZ....and promptly gave me the gift certificate back. She didn't go...and hasn't to this day.     I was working at a small C-182 DZ in the desert when we had a tandem cutaway somewhere over a golf course's outback...rough...whatever they call it. The DZO and TI were awesome readers of the winds and flight characteristics of fabric! We found the main within 30 minutes! The freebag and pc were another story! It took us 2 hours but we finally spotted it! White fabric on a light colored desert....on top of a 20 foot wash! 7 miles away... We had very few cutaways that season. Found every one of 'lost' items! Even a frap hat that one TI had taken off and dropped as he flew the canopy down (he had a habit of taking off his frap hat after securing an operable main...he would hook it to his harness and enjoy the breeze in his hair :^) ). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
