  8. What, not staying around for the 4-way Awards Banquet?! Quade's gonna be putting on some great video captured at the event. It won't show until the banquet night. It'll be worth just seeing Black Magick doing their stuff (to music)! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  12. Okay, my nephew is only 2 years old, but my cousin, his dad, just had to share his son's latest adventure. He's discovered how to fly! Anyone have pictures of yourself as a kid, learning how to 'skydive' before you knew what you'd be doing today?
  13. Just saw it this afternoon (hookie from work). I can't remember a time when the whole audience was laughing in unison throughout the entire movie before. Men and women, both belly laughing out loud, together. Good phrase, and one that I was going to type until I read your thread here..."Fucking Hilarious"! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  14. Yes, but tape is tape. It degrades with use and age. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  15. Your team was right about you, Gordo... For those who don't know, take a look at Nationals 2003 8-way Open Gold, and 2005 HERE. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  16. Yeah!! Last weekend I suggested they contact you and they already had your name, Todd! Welcome back! This is going to be one great Nationals! YeeHaw!!! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  17. You've alreay stated the best approach. I'd suggest at least f/8.0 to keep the shutter speed high enough, yet let the depth of field be long enough to keep things in focus. Set the focus to just shy of infinity. I have a manual Russian 20mm lens that I like alot, however I don't use it much since my pictures need to be 100% no matter if I'm facing away from the sun or not (can't predict students, ya know). I need a lens that will adjust. I only use the complete manual lens when I don't -have- to catch -that- shot. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  18. I'm thinking that if he doesn't know what he has, that it's just a simple 35mm film SLR. Go with a 28mm lens. Works for RW and tandem at least. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  19. The Fly invasion seems to have subsided quite a bit. Now we're under a plague of gnats! Go figure. I'm thinking -next- week should be locusts or some such.... Lori Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  20. Who says I don't need a yard keeper? What stays inside, stays inside. Whoever's outside can take care of things out there. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  21. http://www.edmontonsun.com/News/FirstLight/2005/08/28/1191503-sun.html HUBBY FOR HIRE: Guys, don't let the wife read this one. A 21-year old Belgian woman has put her husband up for hire for a few hours at a time on EBay. The Brussels woman, Nadia Manfroid, claims she's sick of spending all her time with her husband Denis, 28, and wants more time to herself to shop or see movies. Thoughtful Naddy didn't want Denis left on his own, so she offered him up. Hmmm. Could this marriage be in trouble? Denis says he's willing to do almost anything - except sex. He'd rather escort some lady to dinner or a party, but is willing to do dishes, mow the lawn or watch the dog. Highest bid so far is a paltry 1.5 euros (about three Canuck bucks) but Nadia's getting lots of e-mail from interested women. Some want to know if Denis can iron or if he's a good kisser. Careful what you wish for, sister. Denis could be down the road in a hurry. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
