    The landing area at the radisson was a level 2 demo at best. I would not have advised any of my friends with less than 500 jumps to jump there . I would have advised against it.     The hotel pulled the plug on their end but they would not refund my deposit . The organizers owe everyone an explaination and should have posted one by now. I think that they haven't speaks volumes for their lack of concern for those who were coming to their event. My thoughts of them at this point is that they are a bunch of money hungry f@$* wads and have no concern for the skydivers who they invited to Marco Island. It was 1 hour 15 minutes to the new boogie location which was no good for those of us who had a suite at the Radisson and could not get out of it. The other skydivers went leaving those they were going to splip rooms with holding the bag. When planning to attend events that are in a uniqe location please checkout the organizers and look for a history of good events. Like the Chris Spence and the Roamind DZ.     I believe There needs to be a base jump ## as well as the time in the sport requirement. If you dont have a minimum jump number then all the 20 jump wonders would be the best TI in the world just ask them. The time in the sport helps weed out the 500 in a year skygods who learn it all today and have no practical experience. These 2 in combo are a good start to attaining the skills needed to be a competent TI if the person has what it takes it is now up to the TE to check them off and give them the thumb up. The medical is a joke you could get it with 1 leg and half of a back. My 2 cents.
