Hi, Contact Ward Hessig from mirage at ward@miragesys.com for more details! It's a thicker cordura fabric. If I'm not wrong it's a 1300denier cordura that can be used on the leg pads or on the whole container! Blue skies, Gus Marinho

Don't forget to recalibrate the scale at least once a year! Gus Marinho -
Hey Jeff, I do the same thing on stong tandem containers and others I can't remember right now! That technique makes life so much easier for such a simple work! Keep me updated on that stuff we checked on the back yard! Gus Marinho

Vigil units are supposed to arrive on July 15th, accordingly on the last time I got an update from Vigil USA! I hope this helps! Cheers, Gus Marinho

Jay, It is so hard to respond to this message in a meaningful way, other than to agree with you and to add our own feelings to your heartfelt sentiments. It is truly a very sad day for all of us. May I extend my sympathy to you and your family. Fly free Jason. Gus Marinho

On behalf the Chester Gang and "HOWIE", we feel blessed to be a part of this boogie. It's good to see old friends and make new ones for life. MD, Nancy, Becky and whole staff of Emerald Coast you're the best. Thank all for everything. From great skydives, beach landings, fly-byes, "The Florabama", van rides, etc. Also thank Psycho Bob for the chilli cook out(this is becoming tradition bro). We felt at home from the moment we arrived! By the way, did everyone meet HOWIE? We can't wait for next year!!!!!! Gus Marinho

Hi, You did a great job trying to find out about toggle assembly. It's always good when you learn new stuff! I suggest you to put the brake set mark above the knot instead below. You're loosing about 2"1/2 of your brake line length making it shorter. Cheers, Gus Marinho

QuoteMy husband is the second owner of his rig, the container is 5-6 years old. The hardware slipped. We called Sunpath. They replaced the hardware at no charge.Quote You should stop putting soap on the hardware to get free stuff! Gus Marinho

Hi, Please, contact the manufacturer of your rig! The problem is the combination of some type of stainless steel hardware and some different colors of webbing. They even did a study about webbing slippage and they found out that is all about how the webbing manufacturer dyes them. I hope this helps you! Cheers, Gus Marinho

The right side(cutaway handle side)! Old javelins have the rsl on right wearer side! They changed to the left side on the year 199? Please forgive me if I'm wrong!!!!! Tip: Besides asking your friend, the location of the ring can give you a good clue for you. The ring should be toward the center of the container! Cheers, Gus Marinho

Ok people lets try again except this time if you don't like any of them, don't post. Notice how there is no choice in the poll for none or least ugly. The whole idea is for noticeability. Not whether you would like the colors or not. Now if you want an answer, can you at least pick a cool color pattern????? Just f%c*i&g with you brow!!! Gus Marinho

Hi, As a dealer, we've received an e-mail from Sun Path with the following info: -Javelin Odyssey are now available with sky-hooks! -It will not be possible to retrofit any container already produced! The debut will be at the PIA, along with some other news features! I hope this helps! Cheers, Gus Marinho

You got that right! Congratulations and have fun with your "new" canopy! I also relined mine (KA 97) and put a few jumps on it! It flies much better, also better openings and swooping capabilities of a cross-braced canopy! Happy Holidays and safe swoops!! Gus Marinho

I think, somebody in Eloy will be very upset when he sees those pictures!!! Cheers, Gus Marinho

Hi, Tell us which sewing machines you have access. Also which one you know how to use, like straight stitch, zigzag, double needle... Also, do you know how to make templates with paper board? Do you know most of the tapes and webbing commonly used on parachute rigging/manufacturing? Try to answer all these questions with accuracy and maybe everybody that is reading you post can give you cool ideas for your sewing project. I can definitely help you too! I don't normally give sewing projects to my students. I have a different approach for sewing skills! Cheers, Gus Marinho

Define hard openings? Well, 3 years after mine, I still wake up everyday with neck, chest and back pain. I cannot skydive the way I used to. Can't be standing up for too long. No more video work and finally and most important, cannot perform rigging services the way I used to. Right now I have 8 more rigging work to do, including 2 relines and I don't know if I can make it!!! So try do not think to much about it and always be careful when packing your canopy and when somebody packs it as well! Gus Marinho
