I got the playstation 2 for myself and my wife and I seem to like it better than xbox. The PS2 came capable to play dvd's and the xbox didnt. But it sems everywhere I go the ps2 games are a little more in abundance than the xbox. I also got the multiplayer expansion and the online pack to play head to head via internet. I had a tascam 8 track recorder a bit more on the high end than 99 bucks but it was really quite an amazing machine. Mine had a pitch shifter and and a variable speed on the recording side. pan, master,reverb, overlay, and even a couple of effects for each channel. It also had highz and lowz inputs on each channel. I used it quite a bit and had no trouble with it at all. Yah mike I made it. We had a great time. Timmy and his lady showed up, Andrew, myself, hillarys boyfriend, Anjul(sp?) and her friend, and carlton(the owner). We had a great time actually. Lizzie B couldnt make it for some reason but we thought about her. Hillary bartended all night and did a fantastic job at it. Played music all night with this awesome DJ, he mixed up some crazy shioottt. Me and andrew wrere talking, both of us have been around music for some years, we have heard hundreds of hours of house music being played, we know the general concept of mixing, but it still blows your mind to see someone talented just rip up the turntables and do his magic. lol I hear ya, I have a pile and I mean a pile(like about 12 or 13) of lincoln SA 250's. There a great machine no doubt. But I like the fact that my bobcats and wildcats have provisions for a high freq mod that allows me to run my tig in the filed. Its handy when your in a dairy welding stainless or on the road welding an aluminum trailer. havent had good luck with lincolns unit and there tig. But I didnt spend a lot of time setting it up either. Bith are user friendly just different characteristics is all. AMEN PERK, seriously dave you should look at something maybe a little more beefy. My past experienced with 120 volt welders have not been good. Especially ones running inner shield wire instead of gas. Miller makes some nice 240 volt units that will go either way and so does lincoln. However, were not going to put you in the 300 dollar range. You can however pick up some pretty nice units "used" on ebay or locally at auctions. You wont believe me but I bought a miller synchrowave 350 at an auction for 550 bucks out the door. Thats about a 6 thousand dolar machine new. I have bought a bobcat for about the same price, several miller mig machines(rack mount) for next to nothing. Check out the papers around houston and bryan there are industrial auctions almost every weekend and it wont take much to get one reasonably that way. And dont forget about EBAY, they sell some stuff from time to time on there also. If you cant find anything soon give pop a call he has my number and I will give you a guys number to call in sugarland. He wheels and deals in that kinda stuff all the time. Do little gaming and little bit of this and a little bit of that. Use windows XP PRO as my operating system. Of course it all hyper threading and all that good crap.
