    I'm. In. Love.

You've never been to Colorado, tight turns and HUGE cliffs. Fly it like you stole it!
  2. I've seen this on quite a few rigs where the link is not tacked to the D-bag with wax cord. I have never seen it on one that has been tacked. Fly it like you stole it!

Yeah yeah...and come and see me too..... *drool* Fly it like you stole it!
  4. Except SURVIVING NUGENT!!! I have to agree here, I mean how many shows is there an ambulance in almost every episode. Fly it like you stole it!
  5. I'm guessing not very tasty, since I forgot to close her cage yesterday and after I had left to work she got out. Derek came home and she was chilling in the hallway with the dog, not a scratch on her. So neither the cat nor the dog had a little lizard treat. Fly it like you stole it!
  6. You have been hanging out with Derek to much, maybe you need to freeze it also...you know for the sake of science. Fly it like you stole it!
  7. Looky....she is a fan!! Fly it like you stole it!
  8. Lets see 5 years, 3 different companies, 10 different possisions, 11 different bosses. Due to M&As I've never actually gone to a new company so my bridge date is 5 years...can you say 3 weeks of vacation a year. Fly it like you stole it!
  9. Bearded Dragon, and she is going through her teen years right now. Doesn't want to be picked up and hisses at you when you do. Of course then she is screwed has has to sit on my lap for a while, while the rest of the pets try to figure out what it is and if they can play with it too. The attached picture is what she will look like when she grows up, I'll take a pic of here tonight, she is getting big fast. BTW...I live in an apartment, so under the dragon cage is the only option for the pet food/toys. Fly it like you stole it!
  10. Want some of my crickets, they will cheer you on all night. They are such little motivator. Fly it like you stole it!
  11. The average what whale? Surely a killer whale doesn't have that kind of capacity, nor other "small" whale species. Try to picture 8 or so 55-gallon drums, and that's just what's in the whale's ampula??! - Maybe it's a Sperm whale..... hehehe Fly it like you stole it!
  12. This wasn't a scam, just an oops, the buyer didn't know it, but those checks credit card companies send are not accepted by some banks. Went to cash the check, and the back declined it, ended up having to have the buyer send the money threw paypal. Fly it like you stole it!
  13. Ahhhh....the sweet sound of the outdoor, crickets chirping in the night. *sigh* It's just like camping or sleeping with the windows open. Oh wait, that's right, the windows are closed and I'm in the house and the chirping is coming from the livingroom. AHHHH...it's driving me nuts. What is worse...I paid good money for these little night time screamers....stupid pet food. Need to get the dragon weaned off noisy bugs and on to greens. (The brat eats 10+ crickets a day until she gets to about 9 months then it's 3-4 every few days and greens everyday) Greens are nice and quiet, they don't tempt the other pets to wack on thier enclosure. Oh did I mention my job was causing me to loose my mind. Fly it like you stole it!
  14. Same with pasta, keeps it from becoming rubbery. Fly it like you stole it!
  15. Space walks, he worked in the NBL. Fly it like you stole it!
  16. once again, snopes says nope. Errrr...Derek worked for NASA training astronauts, and the russians stil prefer to do things the simple way. While the US would spend thousands of dollers to make a clamp that would fit a something exactly the Russians would use a Russian Wire Tie, it's a copper wire that is about 2 feet long with loops on the end it works like a wire tie, wrap it around what ever needs holding down, or wrap it around something and clip into the loops. It is so versitile that the US space programs has started to use them on missions. Another fact the Aspen tree which grows very fast is intolerant of shade so you will only find them where other trees have been knocked down from something like an avalanch, clear cutting, or forest fire. As soon as the slower growing pine trees start to grow in the Aspen die from lack of sun. Fly it like you stole it!
  17. Unless the back yard wasn't fenced in they wouldn't have mowed that. And most cities likes to send nasty grams 1st. So you may get the nasty gram in the mail and a day or 2 later the bill. Fly it like you stole it!
  18. I've seen 2 where there was a good chance it could have been fatal. Do a search for posts from Hooknswoop, I know he posted at least one of the incedents on here. Fly it like you stole it!
  19. $35 for Reserve Inspection Container Inspection New Reserve Closing Loop (Every repack) New Main Closing Loop (Every repack) 3-ring maintenance Cutway cable clean and lube Container Returned Ready to Jump Packing card marked with a sticker that has due dates for the cypress and the next repack. Main I&R $15 Container wash $20 Others - cost depends on what it is and if we had to order something special for the fix. Derek builds a ton of stuff (need a better mouse trap?) so we have a lot of materials in stock, so usually anywhere from $5-$10 bucks for labor. Fly it like you stole it!
  20. I run about 2 degrees colder than normal, but my doc said "It must be normal for you". Derek calls me a heat sink, I suck all the heat out of the part of his body I'm touching. Fly it like you stole it!
  21. That is one thing to beware of when moving. Due to everyone and thier dog checking my credit I had a bad credit rating with the phone compay which was the last service I turned on. $200 deposit or no LD....I said fine no LD, I'll just use my cell phone anyway, it's free. (I never go over my minutes.) Fly it like you stole it!

    Tip from Slap

29 yr old burn out here... I flamed out about 3 weeks ago, how do I know. I went from busting ass, trying to do everything at once, to not giving a damn and just trying to survive. It really was an over night thing, I left a meeting with my stomach feeling like a hole was being burned in it, threw up all night, took the next day off cause I still wasn't feeling great (ended up having to go in a noon cause I was getting paged up the wazzo), and came to work that Friday not giving a damn. Heck I can't go on vacation without my pager going nuts and ending up having to call in to put out a stupid fire. And just think, this possition didn't exist before February 12th and now it seems like the company can't run with out it. Fly it like you stole it!
  23. That is what I just did, bought basic cable, and a cable modem, disco'd my home phone and DLS. Now our cell phones are our only phones. Cost is exactly the same and I actually use the cable TV, where as I never used my home phone, it was required to have DSL. (Qwest) I really don't see any need to go back, especially since my home phone always was having problems (ie. someone would say they called but the phone never rang) Fly it like you stole it!
  24. OK, I don't know if you get VH1, but you will have to check out surviving Nugent.....On the episode the other night, one of the contestants was hit by a car and taking to the hospital, and Ted cut his own leg open with a chainsaw..... http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/surviving_nugent/series.jhtml Fly it like you stole it!
  25. I've had all 6 peices for quite a bit now and am unable to lift the can Ok figured it out, had to have the hair highlighted.... Fly it like you stole it!
