Derek left for a BASE jumping trip today after the last load, so I decided to not drive down there cause bringing 2 cars is just silly. I know they got 6 loads in yesterday, and I'm possitive they had a bunch today. I know you are worried that if they don't have students you won't get on a load but that isn't how it works down there. Actually Bob hopes alot of fun jumpers come out then he can do back to backs with alternating student loads and fun jumper loads. Ok maybe it's more he just loves flying that caravan, but who cares, we get to jump jump jump. Btw...grab me and I'll take you sit flying, maybe Derek will even let me jump the video camera. Otters both regular and the Super versions King Airs Caravan C-182 C-206 plain and turbo Skyvan Casa DC-3 Piper Cub helicopter (can't remember what kind) hot air balloon (one of the perks of Derek doing ground crew) Fly it like you stole it!

We have 2 turbo C-206s and through the winter we will have a caravan probably everyother weekend. (or I hope that is how it works out anyway) Fly it like you stole it!

Skydive The Rockies will have a caravan both weekends. Can you say goodie....big door! Anyway for those that have never been there, they have a large flat landing area, and as far as I can tell with no cactus. There may be some if you land off, but I've lucked out and not had to find out. As a bonus I've managed to talk our own hooknswoop into giving a little seminar each Saturday night covering things such as canopy control, gear maintenance, tracking, ect... So come on down and join us, it should be a good time. ---------------------------------------------------------- Also to add to this, we are looking at getting some rooms at the hotel in canon city. If anyone is interested PM BPS for details. Since it looks like we are going to have a good turn out I will be bringing my imfamous jell-o shots so you may need that room more than you think Fly it like you stole it!

I'm the one working doubles threw X-mas, 6 18hr days in a row, I get off the 27th at 10pm and there is no way I can drive that night since Derek isn't a night driver, we can't leave until the 28th. *shrug* oh well Fly it like you stole it!

Actually I was quite entertained driving home, my normal 10 min commute took about an hour. Then watching all the front wheel drive cars and 4-wheel drive trucks slipping and spinning their tires while me with my little rear wheel drive mustang drove right past them, only time my rear end slipped a little bit was when this dumb ass stopped on a hill for no reason. I have to laugh, my Dad's old saying that if you can't drive with 2 wheels you might as well hang it up with the 4 wheels cause you are only going to get yourself that much more stuck was so true tonight. So major kudos to him for teaching me how to drive a rear wheel drive vehicle smart or I might still be trying to get home with the rest of the idiots on the road. Fly it like you stole it!

I like to live dangerously Heck in that Valley you can't predict an hour in advace. Cloudy everywhere, brite and sunny at the DZ, we were able to jump all weekend. Fly it like you stole it!

Well the extended forcast for Nov 9th is in the 60s so I'm hoping it stays that way. If enough belly fliers come out I'm hoping to working on my organizing skills by putting together some small ways (8-way or less) Fly it like you stole it!

I ordered a small one and ended up sending it back. Even with the bigger liner, the chin strap all the way back (removed that little chin cover thing) I was able to pull the helmet off my head. Talked to bonehead and they said it needs to be worn in some weird way that was not comfortable at all and ended up making it even easier to slip off. I think the problem was that they add more liner to around the ears, but nothing up in the top where that huge bump out is. So basically it does not size down well to a small Fly it like you stole it!

Well they don't have a bunkhouse or anything, but I bet if there is a need, something could be worked out. Heck if there is enought people I'll make my imfamous jello shots. Fly it like you stole it!

For us Cable was out of the question cause my complex has a contract with a cable company that doesn't do digital cable, actually we don't have cable cause I don't want to spend $40/month for 32 channels. There was a petition going around the complex to get AT&T cable in (they do cable modems) and kick Optel out, but the complex turned it down, so I decided to finally break down and get DSL so I could get online from home at night. Fly it like you stole it!

We will be out there Dec 29th- Jan 2nd, (5 days)unless I join in in the big way organizing I'll probably do about 5 a day, if I do big way stuff I'll go up to 7. So anywhere from 25-35 jumps, already have a balloon jump, and get plenty of high alti jumps so I'll be passing on those. Fly it like you stole it!

As a bonus I just got him a miniDV camera so he is emailing me pics of the snow off our balcony. So look out cause I'm sure he will be posting some of them here soon. Fly it like you stole it!
