  1. This from the same guy that said this: "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  2. Got the tape...Or is this a cover up? "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  3. Another example of you throwing mud. Hint...This is not a BUSH thread. Of course we could mention that Kerry does BOTH things all the time...so I guess he is right on every subject...Just not for long. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  4. And you know this cause? I have one of my best friends rigs in my closet. He wants me to sell it. He has 3500 jumps, and the Advanced Gold medal in 4way....He was on several large jumps 100+ He told me last weekend that he does not miss it one bit. People quit for several different reasons... Dealing with the BS and politics is one of the biggest. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  5. You most likley would not survive the experience. And exit at close to 300 MPH with a jagged hole to exit from...Can you say swiss cheese? The extreme cold and thin air at 35-40 thousand feet....I think you have a useful time before you black out of like 8 seconds. Plus you would be so hypoxic I doubt you would be able to think straight. An accidental opening would rip the parachute to pieces, and probley break you in the process. You might wake up around 10 to 12 thousand feet. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  6. Ok, so what? My whole point is that the US was founded on religion...Thats all..And I have shown that. Im not going to get into if it was a good move, or a bad idea. Im not going to discuss if the Puritans were good or bad. For my argument it does not matter. The US WAS founded based on religion. Even if it was a screwed up section of the religion...It was still religion. Austrailia started as a British prison colony....That also is fact. Good or bad its a fact. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  7. Um...He voted FOR NAFTA. Then he said: But then in true Kerry form he also says later when NAFTA is not the way the wind blows: Now if it were a guy with TWO heads in a mariachi costume...THEN it would be Kerry. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  8. This is an "A" type personality sport.... Get used to it or get out. Try to find a more "family type" DZ. Most are small, but they don't have the large amount of backstabbing. At least its harder to hide. About the plane....If I could afford a Pitts/Extra...I'd sell my rig in a second and never look back. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  9. Shows how they were free to do as they pleased here...And you just backed my point that the US was founded on religion. As do the Crusaides...The Spanish Inquisition, the Jews killing Jesus, Al-Quida....Yada, yada, yada, show other religions are bad and have done bad things. But still my only point was the US was founded based on Religion. Which is true. And the left has not changed either....For the record, I'm not a Christain or a Jew, Muslm, buddist...ect. I don't believe in anything but facts...Which you don't seem to have much of at times. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  10. The Spanish came as Spaniards....Not as people trying to start an independent new government. The Spanish were still answering to Spain. THAT is the difference. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  11. You Rang? If we are not careful we will all get Lurch. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  12. Another Bush bashing post in a Kerry thread... Doc, get a clue. And some help... Maybe a 12 step program for Adult Children of left-wing mudslingers? I never said he didn't lie...I said you have not PROVEN IT. Big difference. And Kerry lies as well. His vote goes the way of the wind...Well thats not true, I have never seen the wind blow both ways. All I want is for you to defend Kerry without slamming Bush...I don't think you can. Someone says Kerry did "X "and you come in running and waving shinny things praying that people will get off track. This thread is a perfect example of this. Your first post wasnext Helps fuel the religion fire...Which has NOTHING to do with this thread. Good God man....Debate the TOPIC...You are a smart guy you should be able to defend a position with out distractions and lies...But for some reason you choose not to. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  13. Ohh...Thats a good quote. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  14. I don't think it is...I have said I think he is a war hero...I do think he might have been a little medal hungry to try and keep up with his idol JFK. However all you have done so far is Bash Bush and bring up religion. Try sticking to the topic Doc. this is the first post where you defended Kerry... Then you add this: Bashing Bush is an addiction for you isn't it? Try just talking about THIS topic without trying to drag other issues into it to try and distract people. Thats bad form Doc. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  15. I agree...My issue is with the bold (Added by me) Once it is inherent, once you have done it enough, enough dive outs..... The problem is not you, Billvon or me needeing to know how to get stable. Its a guy with 6 jumps we are working with. At 6 jumps you don't have enough to have a "Stable Default" in your bag of tricks. Making them do things that most likley will make them unstable, and making them get stable again is a way to speed up that "Stable Default" program. Can you think of a better way other than just experience? Besides a left and right turn and a backloop used to be one of the ways to qualify for the "A". So you had to teach them anyway. I think it helps much more than it hurts. But I would like to hear how you would teach stability to a guy with 6 jumps....And make sure they get it well enough that you are going to sign them off to solo after 7 jumps . "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  16. Why are you trying to turn this into a Bush thread...you do that alot. It is not about Bush...It is not about Religion in the government. It is about Kerry and his questionable service record. But I do love how when you guys can't defend a position, you try to deflect the entire thread. Worked on this one Try sticking to a topic "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  17. The more time I spend looking at religion... The more Religion itself sounds cheezy to me. I was raised a Christian. But I don't believe it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  18. A buddy of mine went into trees...He had some stuff out, and never hit the ground....He also didn't survive. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  19. Get used to it. I have alsmost died 2 times. One was stupidity...the other was "shit happens" Knowing what to do...And actually doing it are two different things. Next dive do a few practice reserve pulls...think about it. You have pulled the main 16 times and had a problem finding it....How many times have you pulled the reserve? I'd bet never. So what makes you so sure you WILL pull the handle you have to pull when you need to pull it? Especially if you missed the handle that you have already pulled 16 times? Think about it. And then train. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  20. I disagree with you. I have been on MANY jumps that went to crap after the exit...Hell just this weekend I had a funnel 30 seconds into a jump. Can you think of a better way to teach a person to regain stability? They already have the diving exit in the program... What harm does teaching backloops, front loops, and rolls do? It CAN and DOES teach getting stable. I have had maybe one student ever do a perfect backflip the first time out. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  21. Yes, but the people on the Mayflower were all trying to escape England and the King. The thing that was special about the Mayflower vs. all the other prior folks that came over is simple. The other folks came for money or on a mission from someone. The people on the Mayflower came on their own to escape the King and start a new life AWAY from Europe. Not an extension of it. The difference was that the Mayflower compact was a document created BY THE PEOPLE IT WOULD GOVERN, not by a King. In the case of the Virginia Company it was GIVEN to them by King James I.
  22. Wrong. While those reasons helped pick this location...They still fled and came here for religious reasons. Read the story about the Mayflower Compact. That person was me. And while it may be one reason they formed a government...The reason they were standing on this rock was to escape religious persecution. 23. ....Your landing lights say KC. ....You have oil stains on the right side of the plane, and dip stains on the left. ....You have buzzed a water tower not to find out where you are, but to check your art work. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  24. Maybe you should learn more before you say things like this? This is a perfect example. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334
  25. Well if they are based on religion then they are. Simple really. This country was founded on RELIGIOUS freedom. The early documents state for God...The early laws (And some today Re: Amendment proposal against gay marriage) are based on religion. I don't think its right, but it is correct.
