I'd probably sell out for 250,000 after taxes. There is more to life than skydiving. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

OK, so he says he will transfer power to the Iraqi's on 6/30 and he is going to do that so he is giving in to terrorist demands? Thats like me saying you will wake up tomorrow or else, and when you do it I can claim I made you... Thats really stupid thinking there. He is doing what he said he would do...Just cause the terroists want it as well doen not mean he is giving in. If he said he would transfer power on 6/30 but the terroists wanted it on 5/30...THEN he would be giving in. But to do what he said he was going to do is not caving in. Jeeze. Well how much for how long? 250,000 might not be enough for the rest of my life, but for 5 years or so it might be enough. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Another example of Republican abuse of power and cencorship
Ron replied to PhillyKev's topic in Speakers Corner
Then you were speaking out of context...I read exactly what you wrote. From your shotgun slander. And its quite funny to see you act like Kerry. "I didn't say that". You must think I cared you were retorical...I saw it and ignored it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -

Yeah, but you seem to confuse the two. Then why did you say that the RNC were a bunch of slimy bitches when you just admitted that the people who voted for this are not members? So lets see you slammed the RNC for something that a group of people that rae not even memebers did? Thats funny. Cause as the CiC he has a duty to be honest. And as the President he sets the standard by which the whole US is judged...And just as now the world thinks we are a bunch of Texas rednecks, back then the world thought we were a bunch of sex crazed liars. Was the push a Republican push? Yes, as is the no WMD's in Iraq is a Dem push. Thats how things work. He did a bad thing, then instead of admitting it when he was caught, he tried to get us to define "sex" and "is". He only admitted it AFTER he could no longer be hurt by it. A really crappy man. And I while I can even admit that he had a few good policies, and was a great speaker...He was immoral, and ethicly bankrupt. While getting a BJ in office is not a good reason, I personally think lying under oath is a damn fine reason to impeach a President. If you can't trust him to tell the truth about something so trivial, how can you expect him to tell the truth about anything? But you are slamming all of them for the actions of a few. And personal slams about their genetic makeup and hygene habbits., not the actions that called you to arms. This was your title...Not "Some RNC members and a personal vendetta". Then you called them all slimy bitches...Even the 15 that didn't vote for it. A shotgun attack at a group, not a deed. 200 USA/500 uk jumps to fly birdman ????
Ron replied to MrPeabody's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Enough benefit that you can do it with 300 less jumps? I am asking since I don't know jack about BM flight...But it seems to me that while the ground class is a great idea (And I have been through one) that the actual BM flight with an instructor is not all that. Reguardless of them posting here or not, or if anyone could get banned for saying it....It is still a personal attack on a group of people casue he does not agree with something they did. Instead of attcaking the event, he attacked the people. Then claimed he never did attack them. (That is so Kerry). Since you said I could: Kerry is a slimy bitch!!!! No, I sung their praises. They really do deserve a large chunk of the credit. One jumper on the support team had asked for months to get a slot...She showed up anyway and joined the support team. She performed very well and got put on the record dives....The best part is she docked one over from the captain that would not give her a slot.

I would not go that far. It was well into the afternoon, and some people left due to long travel times back home...One jumper that I know of left and drove home without a stop and made it to back just in time to go to work at 6AM. Also, the dive before that was a 60 way funnel with folks at all different levels and people tracking with people above, beside, and below them in a cloud. That is scary shit, and I would not blame anyone for saying enough was enough. One very experienced jumper was shaking like a leaf when she landed, saying that it was the scariest skydive she had ever been on. Lets not forget that the #1 thing in this sport is survival, not world records. That being said it was a very Cinderella story. After around 20 attempts and the last one being a disaster. Some of the "A" team had to leave, or got scared (Which I don't blame them). They pulled I think 15-16 people from the bench and on the first jump together and the last attempt they built a solid 121 way and got both points...Several people said it was the smoothest flying formation they had ever been on. When the chips were down and with 2 strikes and two outs...The team called up the reserves snd pulled it together and knocked one out of the park. Good job to all. Now I don't understand this...What in the hell good is an instructor going to do during deployment or a Mal with the student. The only good things that jumping with an I will dofor you is you will not fly to far from the DZ to be able to make it back and if they deploy you had better. You will also get performance tips from him after the jump. But what can the instructor do *in freefall* that makes it ok to take someone with 300 less jumps? Just because they are not on here does not mean that it is not a personal attack on them...You will not get banned for calling them that, but you clearly are attacking them..Then you later say you are not attacking them...You clearly do like Kerry, you are just like him. By calling them a name you plan on attacking their policies? Un why not just attac the policies? Oh wait never mind....Thats not fun. And just like the title you used on this thread not accurate either. Boy that sure LOOKS like you hate Republicans....I don't tend to call people I LIKE "Slimy Bitches". Actually I compare Clintons actions and the Dems supporting those actions to make my points...If the Dems had said "Yep Clinton is an asshole for getting blown in the Oval Office, then lying under oath about it" Instead of "This is just a Republican ploy to make him look bad"...Well then I'd have no fire power. Wow could have fooled me...If I called you a "slimy bitch" I bet I'd get banned for a personal attack. Seems like an attack on THEM, not the policies. But then again when dealing with Dems we have to define such things as "Sex" and "Is". "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -

How is this a misquote? Calling them "Slimy Bitches" is a slam on them, not the policies. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 -
Well here is my two cents since no one asked. Kerry was an officer in war. He wanted to be like his hero Kennedy, and that ment getting medals. So when he could get one, he asked for it...I think thats cheap and stupid, but hey the rules are he could get them so he did. So I don't slam him for his medals. I think he did a lot of stupid shit to get them, and some might not be deserved, but hell I was not there. He did take advantage of the three times hurt and you go home...Well hell, I would also...Im not stupid, if I got hit 3 times I would think I did my part and NO ONE wanted to be there..I can't really fault him for that either. I think he DID ask for the medals since he wanted to be a war hero to make his political future more solid. My biggest problem with Kerry is the fact that he claimed to commit "War atrocities". But we would rather back the guy that did evil things , and saw others do them and didn't stop them as opposed to the guy that went NG. And these same people defend Clinton dogging the draft. So its OK to commit war atrocities, or just flat out dodge the draft in Clintons case...Or its ok to take advantage of some very minor wounds to get a ticket home, but to use what ever "juice" you have to keep from having to go is bad? I don't find issue with either Kerry or Bush on their service record...Both did what they thought they should do. And if I had the power to keep my son from going to war...I would. Now Clinton and his draft dogging is still bull shit. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Making it even easier to arch if the knees are narrow. And if wide makes you fall slower then they would need to add even more weight. Funny thing about added weight..While it does help you fall faster it also takes more energy to start and stop movement. The good thing is that the faster fall rate can make up for the additional energy to start a move by having more air availible to work with. But given the choice I think weights are a last resort used to match a fall rate of a group after you have reached a comfertable and manuverable body position. Teams like Majik are working to loose as much weight as possible to allow them to have faster moves by being able to use less energy to achieve the same move.
