No I don't think they do that...Well ok some do, but not all. I have seen more of women getting more attention than men than women being held back. OK so the guy is an asshole. They found another person to help them plan the dive....Different coach, same dive plan, the jumper found another coach....Same dive plan...Finally she got a member of Majic to plan the dive...Guess what? Same dive plan. Oh, it was an all girl team. But still someone was not happy about the way the dive went till a member of Majic said to do it that way. I think that plenty of people see sexism and racism cause thats what they are looking to find. NOT saying it is not out there, but not everyone is cruising for a piece of ass from the hot new skychick. There have been cases where a DZ.commer broke themselves and people tried to keep it quiet. Never works, and just leads to speculation and worry. I'd rather half decent information gets posted than rumors. The sooner info gets out the less rumor and gossip spreads. I don't think posting facts will do the jumper more harm than good. Its not like THEY don't know they got hurt. Its not like the information will not get out at some point. I think we owe it to each other to keep each other informed and to keep rumors down. Better too much info than none. I have suggested int he past that say HH gives 10 folks the ability to START threads in "Incidents". That way if you saw an accident you could PM one of them and they could start the thread. We would not have all these false reports, and there would be a minumum of information needed before a thread would start. The only ones that bother me are the ones "hidding" accidents.
