  1. :24:cases upon cases Wow what a weekend!!! Finally got to meet everyone in person. (Yes that's right if you weren't there you are nobody) Bill and Amy have mounted themselves atop the pedastal for my favorite LO's. I had ridiculous amounts of fun playing with Mouth, ltdiver, phree, bytch, lizzyb, Hillary, wingnut, Wendy, jt and everyone else. Made my 200-th, first 14-way, on up to my first 28-way. Pulled way too low for my A-licence, not to mention my peace of mind, all weekend. Had a sweet downwinder
  2. Duece you are sincerely missed down here. Although I whole heartedly agree with you in the tasteing air factor!!! PS: the Sunset 28- Way was about as close to orgasiming in freefall as I've come. One thing you have to give so-cal is that the smog makes for an amazing background to a skydive!!! Sorry for the spelling I'm too drunk to fix it as i should be. 5. Lighten up Seb.. No one has any bad feelings towards you. It's just one of those things that happens, as you said, that funnel was crazy! Your bound to get some crap for it. Like when I landed in that tiny yard and almost slid into the fence, or someone cutoff their dive loops after a bad landing. Or any number of landings and beer line violations from the hollister crew. It's all out of love! I look to you for advice / guidance and certainly did not intend to be mean. Weekend Numbers

:14:1 14 wicked jumps, 1 case owed for my first record attempts. I had an awesome time jumping with all the DZ.commers. We had 2 valiant attempts at a 2 point 12 way, a great tracking dive, and a really fast campfire! 7. I can't wait to see some more of the incriminating evidence.... I mean nice pictures from this weekend. I had a great time jumping and parting with everyone! Hope to see some of you again in Perris next week! 10. I live 10 minutes away from one DZ but do all my jumping 45minutes away at my Home DZ. That is except for those lunch break / after work loads. man I need to get in more of those.
  11. Here's one... http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail57.html These really start to grow on you.. little things to click on that add or change some scenes.. it's really amusing after a while. The majority of the site, which has hours of shit to watch, sucks ass. However, Strongbad is amusing most of the time. 12. I think that this thought come to the head of the decision I'm faced with. I started flying a Spector 190 right after AFF for 15 jumps maybe? Then I bought a sabre 170 @1:1 I have about 150 jumps on it now. I started strait in front riser dives pretty soon after that. I was letting up late for the first half of them. (Managed to dig out of all of those without coming in hard, just no distance.) I then got some advice and found the sweet spot. I've been nailing that spot, and not using toggle input for a while now. I've been getting pretty bored with this canopy on that type of approach. It's just soo slow. I just started 90's in the last 20 jumps or so and I'm still bringing those down so I spend less time on both risers after the turn. I just don't find that I lose that much altitude or gain that much speed in the turn. While i know that I still have a long ways to go to incorporate these low turns into my landings, I wonder if I shouldn't downsize first before I get too used to this very quick recovery arc on a slow diving canopy. I'm hoping to attend a canopy skills camp sometime soon. In the mean time please feel free to add to this list of pro's and cons: Pros and Cons of downsizing now.. Pro don't get used to hookin it low on the sabre Con don't have that very forgiving bail out flare Pro feel very comfortable with the 170 and meet all billvons recommendations for skills to have before downsizing. Con Have to get a new rig to fit a smaller canopy Pro would likely make landing more fun and I could get rid of those stupid colors. Con could end up planting a femur T.S.S # 5 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To dream great dreams is itself an act of daring. -Eric Shipton & Bill Tilman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  13. So much grief just for tying to help out and post boobies. I hope now I have reconciled my boobie debt. T.S.S # 5 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To dream great dreams is itself an act of daring. -Eric Shipton & Bill Tilman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  14. Ohh no not repeat boobies!!! Being that this was an infraction of the boobie rules as opposed to the beer rules I will post a case of boobies..... Will need a few minutes for the rest of my boobies owed.. they are all too big.. (darn 60KB max...) 21. Man would I love to see that! I would even settle for just some decent coverage of the Olympics here in the US. Unless we will likely win or the event showcases young girls good luck finding it on TV here. I spend the whole time trying to catch the fencing updates in french on SCOLA. 22. This thread has several parts: 1. What was your canopy progression? Canopy type and size/ wingloading / # of jumps on it 2. How important do you feel down sizing is in developing swoop skills? I noticed that most of the PD swoop team down sized rather quickly to 120 sq. ft. canopies. Several of them doing demos for 25 jumps then going smaller. Do you think it is better to become a monster swooper on a rather large canopy, then bring the size down, or to down size as you become comfortable with each canopy in all sorts of conditions then really hone your swoop skills? 24. Credit card numbers in e-mail is definatly not safe!!!! If you really must do it go here: http://www.pgp.com/products/freeware.html It is free encryption software that is fairly easy to use. Both the sender and reciever need to install the software and then make a password to their randomly generated encryption. Then it is just a matter of writing the e-mail, clicking the encryption button and sending it off. Alternativly there are services such as PayPal, which is free to start up, and charges a VERY small charge per transfer. 25. Why unfortunately? It seems like if skydiving brings together all sorts of people with mental disorders, we are like a world wide support group! Secondly, I feel that extreme sports is a healthier way to treat some disorders. Using the bodys natural chemistry rather than the pharmacy.
