i have paid off the last one yet..! although, if i had the cash, i would absolutely buy one. Very nice suit. inflated very quickly and seemed very intuitive to fly. You could almost fly it with your hips (yeah i'm not sure what i'm talking about either) Sadly the suit was a bit long on me (hence why you can see the booties rolled up in the picture), so in flight they came out and flapped about, but i still seemed like i had a pretty damn good foward speed. I purposely kept myself a bit away from the rest of the flock, just because i wasn't entierly sure how the suit was going to fly, but looking back, there would have absolutely no issue. It seems like it will be very suited to flocking, as well as having some damn good fun solo stylee.. The only thing that got me about the suit was the lack of thumb loops. You use the wing grippers to hold when you unzip... being so used to having loops, i slightly forgot about gripping come unzip time, so it took a couple more seconds than normal... but other than that, no complaints. I use AXA for travel insurance and just got a new year long worldwide policy that covers endless skydiving etc... I've also just renewed my policy with Harison Beaumant (sp) for a year which covers all my gear wherever it is. So they do still cover gear... not sure if its just because its a renewal, but it may be worth trying them again... Hello all, i'm looking to mount my pc107 (same as the 109, kind of) on top of my mindwarp millenium, but am planning to mount it on its side - so it looks flat rather than tall on top of my helmet. The lense will of course still be pointing forward. I've spotted a couple of wingsuit pilots do this, and the idea really makes sense to me. It also seems a more comfortable place to wear a camera. I've never made a mount before, so have many, many questions. Should i make something to bed the whole camera, or just something to screw one side in, then rest it on foam or something? Is aluminium the best type of metal to use? I've found i an old cypres fanny pack will house the camera nicely, but is there any othe precautions i should take to protect my camera? Is there anything i should be wary of when drilling into the carbon fiber? should i use nuts and bolts? is there a better method of attaching it all? doing some careful balancing, it seems the standard chin strap takes the weight very well, and seems comfortable (i affixed the camera with tape etc to hold it in place), so do i need to go down the chin cup route, or is it ok to stick with the current set up? Anyone in the central london area want to help? i'll buy the beer? Sorry for all the questions, and all help will be greatfully recieved!
