well if your profile is correct then at 15 jumps you need to work on some airtime first. Tunnel time would even be better. I know your not serious though about wanting to do a Big-Way at your level. You should come visit the Hill though b/c we organize lots of fun stuff. It doesn't always work but we have fun. That is the key. It also helps low-time divers learn a lot. Especially when it becomes a zoo. Too bad though because that is an awesome deal for the weekend. If I had the time and money I would be there. One of these days I will make it to the West Coast. Personally I have never hung out around there. You might want to PM SkymonkeyOne. He used to travel there all the time when we were roomies. From what I hear though it is not that bad. If I had more time to travel I would be there from time to time. I am just trying to go so many places. Yeah I have a pretty cool Boss. We have not done anything like that yet but there is golfing in the works. We just have to get out of this insane time of year first. Yeah that sounds about right. Apartments down here in Z-Hills are under $500 for a one-bed. You can even sometimes get a two-bed for around that. Of course it is kind of out in the sticks but not too far from Tampa. I like it because it is peaceful out here. Ya just have to deal with the BLUE HAIRS on the road. When are you moving? I have never thought I was going to die. Then again I have been a nut my whole life. I have always put myself in some pretty interesting situations. You just have to learn how to relax in stressful situations. If you keep your head screwed on straight everything will be fine. Some people know of my escapades and can tell you that I have lived past my nine lives. I must have a Guardian Angel who really likes me. I have learned to accept Death on any day. Yeah I have also seen DZ's that require people to have an AAD. Like I used to hear all the time: Personally I have been kicked several times in the head. I have also had a formation wave and a guy z'd and landed on my head almost knocking me out; and I wear a Factory Diver always!! I have even dove fast enough to see stars. It is pretty wild. I was lucky my Mother gave me the money for my AAD. All I had to do was promise to never jump w/o one. It is your decision but I would definitely recommend it. It is not necessarily for your incappabilities but the guy that might take you out. I have been hit under canopy and hit on deployment. Yeah well it is better to be safe than sorry. I fly a Jedei as well and I waited too long to get my lines changed and it ended up putting me down for two years. Hell I live right here and see Brian all the time. Oh well, I made a decision and had to live with it. I am jumping now that is all that matters. I have not decided on waiting for the Sensai(SP) or just getting a samurai. Although my Jedei is in awesome shape for its age. It still flies beautifully too. Hello and welcome. When I did Tandems I always tried to explain as much as the time allowed. I also was able to convince others with a group who were not jumping to at least try it. Skydiving is not for everyone but it should at least be tried once. I never had anyone say they did not like it. A few said it was not for them but they enjoyed the ride. Yeah I definitely cannot complain. I work under the IT Director. I pretty much do as I please. Hell I even have IM on all day. It is also for work though. We have to communicate out of country. If I need time off it is not an issue. All I have to do is make sure that the work load is done.

Just live the life and see where it goes. Sometimes it can work and sometimes it cannot. I hung out with an 18y.o. when I was 28. She was a whole lotta fun. With all of this talk of impending war, many of us will encounter "Peace Activists" who will try and convince us that we must refrain from retaliating against the ones who terrorized us all on September 11, 2001, and those who support terror. These activists may be alone or in a gathering.....most of us don't know how to react to them. When you come upon one of these people, or one of their rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette: * 1. Listen politely while this person explains their views. Strike up a conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideas. They will tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the people who did this to us, we will only bring on more violence. They will probably use many arguments, ranging from political to religious to humanitarian. * 2. In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in the nose. * 3. When the person gets up off of the ground, they will be very angry and they may try to hit you, so be careful. * 4. Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings about more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter. Tell them if they are really committed to a nonviolent approach to undeserved attacks, they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a solution. Tell them they must lead by example if they really believe what they are saying. * 5. Most of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are correct. * 6. As soon as they do that, hit them again. Only this time hit them much harder. Square in the nose. * 7. Repeat steps 2-5 until the desired results are obtained and the idiot realizes how stupid of an argument he/she is making. * 8. There is no difference in an individual attacking an unsuspecting victim or a group of terrorists attacking a nation of people. It is unacceptable and must be dealt with. Yeah I have heard of it. Just like some people with 200-300 jumps think they are all of a sudden "SKYGODS" You need to try and get with you old instructors or anyone else you might have hung out with at the time and goto the DZ. Maybe just to hang out the first time. That might help spark you into again. Videos could also do the trick. I do know the longer you wait the harder it will be to get back into it. The other draw back is that the more uncurrent you get the more jumps it will take to get you back to where you were before you left. I hope that might help you. Take Care bud.
