Have not tried in quite a bit but it used to be 2+. That was while swimming not just sitting still either. I am sure SkymokeyOne's number is pretty high. I only Daisy Chain on the last jump of the weekend. I like to look at my Canopy after a weekend or week of jumping to make sure it is in good shape. Setting the brakes on landing is definitely a good idea but you should still periodically check them to make sure that they have not been twisted. It can take away from your flare. Gia: I think it is something in the air. I know exaclty what you are talking about. I have been going through some sill stuff as well. Sometimes you just have to ride the storm. I did not know Holly but it is a very unfortunate thing. The lesson that should be learned is that you can die under any canopy, any wingloading. This past weekend I just let loose and enjoyed my jumping. It was a Great Release. I met a few new cool people and will be jumping with them in the near future. I like to travel anyway. Keep your chin up Girl. Things will turn around I know it. You just have to go through the down times in life during certain periods. Take Care!

Hey Sean: Welcome to the forum. Glad to hear you like the sport so much. It is cool that you are trying to spark the interest of others. Just do not get discouraged. It is a hard sell. There are numerous videos out there and books which can help you to become a better flier. Just look in Parachutist or Skydiving. One thing is for certain working with a coach and if you can get to a wind tunnel are definitely the best. I am not sure that ya'll have access to a wind tunnell up that way though. Another good thing is to get video of yourself jumping so it can be debriefed. Well dude, enjoy the forum's and the sport. If you love it that much I suggest getting a lifetime membership. Yeah probably Bronchitis. You need to see a doctor. I have Asthma and it has been giving me an unusual amount of trouble this year. I am normally not this bad. My lungs have been filling up though which in turn makes it harder to breathe and then it also makes me cough a bunch. Seriously let a doc check it out though and get a chest X-Ray. It might be a bit of a cost on the front end but well worth it. Trust me. Here at work we have two people almost die from pneumonia this year. All because they blew the symptoms off. Keep us informed.

You know it could possibly be the allure of the internet. Not actually being in person when discussing certain subjects. Then when you actually meet in person that part of the attraction goes away. I would not let it get to you. I am sure it has nothing to do with you at all. Even though I do not know you. As far as how to not feel like that in the future? Well maybe try not getting too close. Suuuuuuuuuuuure why not? Hey it is better than the A/P Woman here at my work. Her schedule is as follows: Comes in at 9:30 wich is at least 1/2hr late. Reads the paper till 10:30. Does something resembling work til 11:30 Lunch 11:30-1:00 sometimes 1:30 Does something resembling work again then there is some social wandering around the office. and people wonder why companies are getting more strict about things. Aside from her though I really like the company. Not many bene's but it is a relaxed atmosphere. I even get to cut out early sometimes to make the sunset load. I second the Ice Cream though. Sounds really good. It is people like you and I who make it possible for others to screw off. We get the work Done.
