Well Last week I posted that this past weekend was my 10YR Anniversary in the Sport. Sorry to say I only made two jumps because of some circumstances beyond my control. I made One Jump at Sebastian and One at Skydive Palm Beach. I was testing a new canopy. A Samurai 95. The Jump at Sebastian was O.K. It would have been nice if the manifest would have held sunset for me but Oh well therefore only one jump. A friend and I tried to do a Hybrid. Yesterday at Skydive Palm Beach we did the same dive. The dive went much better. I deployed and there were a few line twists. Needless to say the Samurai Took a hard dive to the left. I got the line twists out but the canopy would not stop diving. I played with it for a few more seconds then said " The Hell With This!!!" Chopped and had a full reserve by 2,200'. Yes I was pulling high to play with the canopy a little. It was fun but stopped me from being able to make more jumps. I followed my Free-Bag. I even had an opportunity to catch it but let it go. It landed in a NASTY Ditch filled with ALGAE. I was able to get it easily though. The Main landed on the Taxi-Way. What luck. All is good. I Should be at the Hill again this weekend sometime. I am definitely used to drinking with What some of you may not know is that I used to be roomies with We on more than one occasion. Tequilla is definitely a favorite of mine. I have a bottle of Dos Gusanos. Two worms!!! A buddy brought it back from the islands for me back in 97' Even I am not sure about drinking that stuff. Hmmmmmm.... Who is going to keep me safe. This Saturday Marks my Tenth year in the sport. 10yrs ago on May 3rd 1993 I made my first jump. What should I do to celebrate it? Unfortunately I will probably not be at my home DZ. I should be jumping though. Provided the weather co-operates. Either way I am glad to be here. I have had some serious close calls. For some reason I have lived through everything. Not all Skydiving related. The Angels keep me close at all times it seems.

Yeah Lately I have been having a very rough time with work. I am really deep into my skydiving and thinking about instructing once again. It is very hard to get work done. Especially since I am on A T-1. Super fast connection for those of you are are IT illiterate.

For an interview I would definitely shave it. Hell I am in the guard and I have to shave mine once a month. Then again it grows back in 5-Days so it is no biggie. Yeah Like Bill said he is now a pilot. He ruined his shoulder awhile back and is unable to jump. He was flying right seat during the Easter Boogie and helping with the loading of planes. He seems to be doing pretty good. Although he will not be organizing there are a bunch of good organizers at the Hill. Nigel, Oren, and Zero to name a few. Heck I might even do some. 5TH time huh. Maybe you should think about becoming a lifetime member. A few less skydives today means you never have to think about it again. Like Skybytch said you can donate to the funds anytime. Just ask an old timer what a Lifetime membership used to cost. I have heard as low as $100. I got mine back in 98. I think it is well worth the short run sacrifice. The long term benefits are great.
