Are you still going to get him the Tandem? If so the only thing that the Gov't requires is that he is fully clothed while jumping. Not that it would be truly enforced but just informing you. Your Ortho is honestly not comfortable with it then you should probably give it a little longer. If you do not want to listen to him what about several people I know who have come back too quickly and are now out of the sport all together? I would prefere not to see that happen to you. You are your own individual. If you do not want to listen to all the people who care about you then O.K. I wish you the best but I think it is too soon. Hey there Head Honcho: I am not a big time poster but I would think that you could combine rigger, Tandem, AFF, Coach, and IAD. The forum being controlled for those with the ratings. This way instructors could share experiences and be able to learn from all over. We would be able to discuss what went wrong and how we could make it better. This is just my personal opinion.
