Could have been the Gas Pedal. Most likely it had to do with the throttle. I would hope that you did not have the cruise control on in the parking lot. That is aso a remote possibility. Is it a stick shift? Sometimes when you hit the clutch it will coast at a faster rate then the car was originally going. You seem to have a majority of the answers though. There is a difference between pictures at the bonfire and trying to catch someone in the toilet, shower, trailer, car or tent. This is True. There is no need to rush it though. Todays High Performance canopies are very touchy. I personally made all of my canopy mistakes on something that would not kill me. There is a reason for the wing loading suggestions. No one can experience everything within the jump numbers recommended let alone even fewer. We are starting to have far too many issues under good canopies. Maybe if more places enforced wing loading policies we could save a few injuries or better yet Death's from happening. if your window is open I know from P.I.'s that it is legal to video the inside from the outside. Yeah we can fall on the consideration and etiquette thing but once again don't do something at a DZ that you do not want on video and you do not have to worry about it. I have done some pretty insaen things in my time but I make sure that there is no evidence to prove and factualize what I have done. It makes for some Damn Good Stories though. O.K. so I was reading a thread and someone asked to not have pictures of them posted. Hmmmmmm. What kind of pictures are they? Here are a few thoughts: 1) If you are going to goto any type of skydiving facility you should know by now that there are going to be a ton of camera's. If your ugly well then sorry about your luck! 2) If the reason is that you are doing something you would not want proof of then I suggest you either not do it at the DZ or make damn sure there are no camera's within your vicinity. 3) You must realize that if a picture of you is taken then it is the property of the person who took it. Once again make sure it is one that you will not be ashamed of. I am sure I could make this much longer but I will leave that up to the fellow/fella compadre's on here. Z-Hills does not usually have too much wind. We have a KICK-ASS Swoop Pond as mentioned. We HAVE KICK-ASS PARTIES & lots of Nig Noggery. Lots of outs with nice green grass so as not to damage the canopy. The weather is unbeatable this time of year. Not too hot or too cold. Friendly People & Staff. Did I Mention the KICK-ASS PARTIES? Maybe in the future instead of going someplace with a negative attitude you could look forward to the trip. You Have got to make the bet of where you go. I don't know how you fly your canopy but I personally do not land in the trees. Dust is much worse. It ruins there perosity on the canopy very quickly. One other thing. trees are not necessarily that bad. I have seen goofballs get their canopy snagged w/o doing damage. Dust on the other hand always does damage even if you do not land in it. I have never been on an AZ DZ but from all the pics I have seen there is nothing but dust. If there is a grass patch I am sure it is tiny and too many people converging on a small area. If I get to stay in the military and have the opportunity to do MFF then I will see.

Arizona is good as long as you like buying canopies. All the dust ruins the canopy in a relatively short period of time. Work is over rated anyway. Florida is really nice. As far as the summers go yeah it is hot but hey that is when you can travel to the North. There is always air conditioning as well. Not too mention pools and the ocean. Although both are like bath water. The "BLUE HAIRS" are really not that bad. You get used to them. There are many attractions & nitelife. Many different travelling options. Scuba, parks (although nothing w/ mountains), Springs. Last but not least there are at least 5 TURBINE DZ's within 1.5hrs of one another. Many foreigners come here to train. You will meet many different nationalities. Friendly DZ's. SDuper Parties. WARM WEATHER in DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
