Did you check the S/Ns to make sure it's legit? That's what a lot of people warned me about when I bought mine. Sweet deal.

Take good care of yourself there bro. Come home safe.

At first glance, I was left with the impression that the recent U-2 spy plane had crashed on the other side of the border and gave N. Korea all the reasons we are the bad guys. I'm somehow glad that any potential misunderstandings did not happen. On the other hand, I'm also sending a prayer for the pilot that he'll come home okay. News here.

My favorite TeleTubby is Lala

Although I get Friday's off (4 10s) there'd be times when work just calls for attention. It's those times when I would take my rig with me to the office because my rig is worth more than my car. Even if it's not, I would not let the sun and heat come close to it, or even risk it getting stolen should my car get broken in.

From 2000? I love Get Fuzzy. I get my fix everyday from www.seattletimes.com. My favorite series was when Bucky called Satchel's friends Euro Trash and Satchel got mad enough to nearly beat him up. Bucky of course buckled and then dressed up as a TeleTubby for Halloween.

I'm currently working on an electronic logbook for Palm. I know that there's a commercial version out there, but I'm not gonna let that stop me. I've worked on it for quite some time before realizing that one already existed. It's going to have pretty much the same features, but mine will be given away for FREE and I will include the source code with it. Since I write code for a living, I'd like to spend some time doing other things so I haven't been putting too much of an effort. Especially at this time when my bride and I are so busy working the final details for our wedding. But I will get it done and I will post it here for everyone.

Gee! I hope you didn't beat Homer to his date.

microsoft office for mac (WHY I'M OUT FOR BLOOD)

I used to get mad whenever people stole my work and took credit for it. Note that I stated that they took credit for my work. On the otherhand, had they been unregistered shareware or freeware for that matter. I think my ego would have soared to high heavens. To me, if something is worth stealing, it's something good or valuable. -
Homer's date or desperate? and Blewaway's $41 burger have got to be the best and funniest threads I've come across. At times when I'm feeling like getting crapped on, it's posts like these that pep me up. I'll do my best to be a little less emotional in the forums. This is afterall a place to hangout. Definitely not the place I'd like to set a frown mode. Thanks everyone.

Well at first glance it sure did. Don't you think it's somewhat like a headdown pose?

Go to Heavnly. You won't regret it. Then head over to the Nevada side and pig out at the buffets.

I hear ya... I think flowers and some pampering are due. Me and my stupidity. Anyway, I spent some time doing some research and found that now might not be a good time to live the US (period). Not only have I been singled out by the Mexicans, I've also been singled out by the INS. Info here: INS Issues Foreign Travel Advisory for Aliens With Pending Immigration Applications Special Registration Procedures for Certain Nonimmigrants Edit: I made some remarks about Al Queda and it might be taken wrongly. So I took them out.

And that was one of the main reasons I have not left the US since 1995 when I was still going to school (F-1 visa). I went home because my brother was getting married. I spent hours at the US embassy in Singapore getting questions after questions. So from there, I learned that it's smarter to stay in the US - it's got 50 states right? Lot's of places to visit if I wanted. So in 1997, I found a job that landed me in the Seattle area. I got my work permit through my co. and applied the same logic to not leave the country unless I had to. And this was what I tried explaining. I would most certainly do anything to make my bride happy. She just loves to travel. We've never been to Mexico, so hey! It's a good thing the US has 50 states and your driver's license is valid in all of them.

Yap! And ther INS won't even count the time you've been together before you're married. We've been together since 1998.

Ok... Sorry everyone. I just had to rant. So here are my options: Go to some place in AZ, NV or CA. Given that, where is coolest DZ to these resorts? Preferably one with a tunnel.

As you all might know, I’ll be marrying my beautiful bride on 2/8/3. And we’re set to go to Cabo San Lucas for our honeymoon on 2/11. ME, being an Indonesian citizen here in the US with a work permit, figured I’d be smart to get all the paperwork necessary to enter Mexico and re-enter the US. The problem here, let me explain, is that my passport is not stamped with the H-1B visa. What I have is a work permit, that should I leave the US, I would present to the nearest US consulate and it is there that my passport will be stamped with the H-1B visa. Because I have not left the US since ’95, there is no way for my passport to get stamped with the H-1B. Am I making sense? So there I was at the Mexican consulate, and because of this anomaly in the system, I’ve been denied a tourist visa. I’ve presented my last pay stub dated 01/17/03, my employee badge, business card, all travel documents (passports, work permit + extension, airline tickets, hotel confirmation), WA driver’s license, Social Security Card, marriage license – proof that we’re getting married. Still I’m getting denied. Last Friday I was at the Mexican consulate, they were going to issue the visa on the spot had I 1) my airline tickets, 2) $37 cash (fee for visa). What could possibly change their mind? I pretty much presented all the same documents short of those 2 items. If it was the US that was giving me grief to re-enter from Mexico, fine. I can understand. It is in my plan anyway to bring all my papers to Mexico including my W-2 (income statement for tax purposes to those unsure) from the last 5 years, my mortgage statements, phone and electric bills, everything, just in case. Well, my wife too of course! One point they made that I’ll buy, is that, though the work permit allows me to stay in the US, it does not guarantee that I’ll be issued the H-1B visa to re-enter the US. And therefore they cannot issue me the tourist visa, because then the Mexicans will be stuck with deporting me. But to question the legality of my being here in the US? The last time I checked, it was them Mexicans running to our side of the border. Any border we’re running to was Taco Bell. WTF?! I'm so ready to cancel the trip and do the honeymoon here, but the airline tickets are non-refundable, though we can exchange them for anywhere America West flies (AZ & HI are next on my list) at $110/ea extra. F#$%^&s! And I have until 2/1/3 to cancel my hotel without penalties. F#$K! My wife and I are already out $8000+ for the wedding entertainments! So now I’m MAD as a F#$%^N raging bull getting ready to spear some jackass! So mad that I yelled at my wife when she’s got nothing to do with any of this horse shit. And I’m feeling bad.

You're definitely a friend because you are concerned. The thing is though, he's a pilot. I therefore could see why he might have the "not a problem" mentality because he's obviously been trained on more rigorous things. I'm under the impression that your friend receives information and suggestions quite well. So why don't you express your feelings to him and ask him to do you a favor by first demo-ing a Stilletto 150 before trading down to a 120. Seems reasonable don't you think?

I'm surprised none of you have yet to claim that you dream yourself as a SEX animal! C'mon people! My last dream was a street confrontation. The other guy pulled out a knife on me, so I whipped out one of mine. Then his buddy took out an axe. Then I fumbled with my blade and wondered if I should whip out another one and go for it. Must have been that cutaway last weekend combined with browsing trhough Tactical Knives mag. before bed. So I guess I dream myself as a street fighting man

Oh boy... I guess I was asking for it. Ok. So I'm looking at the ZR-45MC because I'm loking to spend anywhere between $450-600, and this particular camera is going for around $500. Let's hijack this thread to a Sony. But as much as I'd like a PC style, I think a TRV is more realistic. So which TRV would you recommend? I'm thinking the TRV18 is the best I can afford.

And we're saving the world's economy while at it! Of course we should expect American casualties. What I'm saying is to the extent of the long term effects. Saddam is not just going to kill US soldiers. He's out to hurt our economy and the world's. He launches a chemical warhead, he takes out Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Turkey, Kuwait, ++. So do we when we turn his neighborhood into a solid flat sheet of volcanic glass that glows in the dark. Having them Iraqi officers with enough brain cells as my Diablo to surrender will not only expedite things. It will also ensure that the world can continue.

One of the reasons I'm getting into FF is because it was getting difficult to find people to do RW. I mean that in the most gentle way of course. I don't usually get to the DZ till the afternoon, and by then most people would have been warmed up and dirt diving for their next jump. I, like doing a solo for my first jump (to warm up) because I've meat-missiled a formation more than once by skipping it. But that was last year
