When the power goes out, throw extra blankets or sleeping bags over the freezer. The extra insulation will buy you more time.

Lessee, a couple of times due to winds kicking up, esp. in the round days. A few times when I had a student that wouldn't jump or also when they needed me to put out back-to-back loads of students. Once I rode the plane down because the engine quit at 500 feet. That was my most memorable time.

Maybe he thinks it's a waste of tax money, but MAYBE NOT REDBULL MONEY! I bet he could be the first man to plant the RedBull flag on Mars. >> I agree with you. Who cares what he thinks? And to someone who owes all his celebrity to the efforts of scientists and technicians, he sure has a cavalier attitude to scientific research. Almost all of our great technologies that we enjoy today started as pure research, with no particular application in mind. Behold the power of the curious mind. Felix, you should be ashamed to sound so dull in public.

At a drive in hamburger stand I watched my daughter find and turn in a wallet left on an outdoor table. Being my kid I would expect nothing less from her. I wish more people were like that. For Squeak: it was Missy Mitch, of course.

Read some of the history of sailing ships and sailors adrift at sea. Cannibalism was not unheard of among those groups. I've read of men in life boats drawing lots, the loser having to be lunch.

I've heard he has a big deck. I'm glad our kid Brett made his SEA-SLC-DEN-OKC drive earlier in the week, ahead of all that snow.

Best Buy bet heavily on 3D being the next big thing and it's costing them heavily right now. A few gadget-philes I know have purchased them, but I don't care to wear glasses at home to watch TV. I barely enjoy doing it for the occasional 3D movie at the theater. Not an important feature for me.
