will a jumpsuit help at this point?

Super tight for your physique. I throw weights on occasionally. It makes it easier to keep up with bigger people. Ask around. -
You'd be surprised at how often people can't remember what that means to do.

Naw, that ain't normal . . . but it's smart! Everyone worries about the damn chute opening, but they are pretty damn reliable. If you've followed any of the stats you've realized many, if not most, fatalities now occur under fully open parachutes. Now, the good news is you'll be under large, low performance, very forgiving student chutes when you start. Become a student of canopy flight, keep your head straight and follow the guidelines for learning advanced canopy control. There is a middle path in our sport that is well thought out and not too risky. Stay on that path and you're in for a lifetime of adventure and fun. Welcome to our sport.

Damn, that's amazing that the JW would even debate. It can be so frustrating trying to use logic against things people "believe." I quit years ago.

O-M-G. Why can't some people learn to shut up when you're not buying what they're selling? I would have had to get pretty rude to the guy. I always take a good book on flights. Do you think he would have stopped witnessing if you had said "Sorry, but I don't want to talk. I'm trying to finish my book."?

Oh man, some day you'll think "how could I have ever done that to myself." It'll happen and you'll never be happier. Keep the faith.

Boston for a week. What's some good side trips?

I'm liking these train trips. Rental car is $40 a day and I have to drive. Traveling the rails is a fun way to go. -

I've done that tour 3-4 times, and just might do it again. An amazing piece of history. Another tour I plan in town . . . http://www.samueladams.com/brewery-and-craft/our-brewery -

Thanks Wendy. Our daughter has been living in Boston for 8 years now, first for school, now working. So we've done the town many times. And yes, it's fascinating, but looking for some stuff on the side. -

Valinda and I will be in Boston for a week, staying with our daughter. I'd like to take a 2-3 day side trip, somewhere within a few hours of Boston, either by car or train. Any suggestions? -
Done it twice. . .
