  1. What ever Remtard. Don't make me sick Jessicakes on you with her editing skills... Everyone knows I'm nicer then Skymama! Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  2. Biggest issue to getting started it I've seen some REALLY bad 3d and I don't want to be in that group and I've heard so many things about if settings are not right you can give people vision head aches and stuff like that. Its just a lack of understanding and ability at this point Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  3. Easiest answer is the best one also. Sony PS3. Fully media player, supports everything you listed, built in WiFi and everything else. Plus its ready for HDMI 1.4 for 3d ready too. For the most part the majority of the items you are asking for are used around video piracy. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  4. Bumping this again so that all the newer members can see it again. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  5. It won't be me but I would suggest that she takes the guy she was hanging around with all weekend. We'd like to have him back at the DZ from time to time... Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  6. Some DZ software will let you view your logbook online of all the jumps made at that DZ, show you the price per jump and any income you made plus your current balance on account. Thats rolled right into the same package that will let you self manifest via touch screen systems/RFID cards and view the load calls over the web, on your phone or on TV screens around the DZ. It also has all your waiver details like the emergency contact info, email address and phone number listed so you can update it on your own via your online profile. It also lets you add funds to your account via credit card prior to showing up at the DZ. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  7. Jumprun has some serious contenders since its so old. http://www.dz-manager.com/Pages/Default.aspx Take a look at that site for a really cool piece of software. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  8. Icon134 and Norman Kent shot video on the 36 way (which I think will be a new USPA record since the dual state records from years ago never got filed). Look for Scott to post videos on his site at http://www.scottgunstills.com/ or on Facebook. I uploaded around 100 photos of day and night activities and then around 100 fireworks photos. I shot close to 1400 stills over the weekend
  9. Hopefully now the stupid "is my camera on" questions will end by just turning it on it will record. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  10. Jump with the organizers that the DZ has for you for free Seriously that is what they are there for and if you don't know who they are yet then ask around since there are tons of us that will point you in the right direction to those that are doing free jumps on the weekends. In terms of trying to freefly get with some of the more experienced freefly jumpers that are around the DZ. They just did a really nice 12 way record jump so the skills are around to make sure you don't learn bad habits from the start. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  11. 21.8 mph on the wind meter when I was holding it on Friday: 16:0 Higher winds then I like kept me grounded a lot of the weekend. Still managed to get a few wingsuit flights with LikesToJump and the rest of the wingsuiters out at the Work Stinks boogie. Shot video and stills on a few Kirk Verner 10-15 way jumps, did a couple of tandem jumps and tandem videos to get things moving and then a couple of freefly jumps with the wife and Wingnut. The Work Stinks Boogie was a huge success! Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

  14. Does anyone have the steps needed to get a new cutter for free? I have a few customers that will be needing new cutters it looks like. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  15. Jumper flew through some turbulent wind conditions and did a turn with his steering toggles. This input may have lead to a partial collapse of his canopy at a very low altitude and did not allow enough time for it to re-inflate prior to striking the groun

  20. Both the major US tandem manufacturers say 18 for usage on their rigs. I am unsure what Jumpshacks stance is on it. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

  23. A great option if you can afford to get there is Skydive Hawaii with http://www.proskydivingservices.com Beach is under jump run, lots to do on the ?Island and they do a TON of jumps every day. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  24. B&H is evil but so are a few of the used sites online... I've got in trouble on those by saying "Thats a GREAT deal! I should get it while its still for sale!" I'm not looking for a 70-300 L. Damn you Canon! Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
  25. Horrible mount option. From what I am understanding if the jumper jumps with out the GoPro attached then they have a piece that is just sticking out there waiting to jab into someone. The only option that would work to remove the mount is taking the face shield off, removing the mount and then putting the face shield back on. If this is correct this effectively means the jumpers will never take that off and will just disconnect the camera and leave the mount. There has already been an instance of the mounting plate on the GoPro snagging on another jumpers jumpsuit, had this been there instead the jumper would have been jabbed/stabbed instead. I don't see the need to have a GoPro mounted on a Fullface with a moveable visor to begin with since jumpers will either flip the visor up under canopy and then the camera is sitting there ready to be entangled in the slider or the jumpers will need to leave the face shield down which defeats the purpose of the moveable visor.
