The video shows a normal opening with everything in proper position. At some point - not exactly clear on the video - he grabbed his right toggle through the front and rear risers. This resulted in the steering line now routing around the rear riser. It s

Huckabee is out due to illness - he knows people are sick of him Gilmore is out by the end of the week Santorum is out in 2 weeks time Christie - I think he will stick around until Super Tuesday and then will be gone. Kasich - He will be a long shot to stick around unless he has a GREAT showing in NH. Fiorina - She will not last until Super Tuesday. Others opinions? On the Dem side - this one will be going to the convention I have a feeling. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Anyone know how to go about getting access to go through some of the bone yards out there? I've seen the tours at some of the military bone yards but I am more looking for access to go access commercial scrap yards and purchase materials but I'm coming up short on figuring this out. I know there are a ton of "pick your own" scrap yards for cars everywhere but we seem to be coming up short on anything like this for planes. We are looking to get some scrapped out pieces to use as furniture for a project space and while there are some dealers out there (MotoArt, etc) their prices are stupid expensive and the group I was working with has a decent amount of metal working experience so figured we'd try to save a shit ton of money and try to make some of it ourselves. We are looking for wings, rudders, large cowlings (like DC9/737), old seats, etc. Beat up, crashed, non-airworthy is what we are looking for. Anyone got any ideas? Have you actually sat down and figured out a budget yet to see how much you have to make to cover the basics like food, your rent/trailer space and health insurance? Don't forget to set 30% of the money aside for taxes at the end of the year also. Those numbers can add up and when you then break it down into either $5 or 10 chunks you need to make sure the DZ has enough work to actually pay you to live. I've seen it before where a jumper moves to a DZ with little money and then they hit a bit where the weather sucks for a few weekends and they basically get no work and then just quit paying for things like insurance since "I'm healthy - I don't need it!". A few of these people then quit filing their taxes at the end of the year since they are not use to needing to save for it since they typically just had it pulled from their paycheck at a "normal" job. Some times they get hurt and need to beg for money from all their friends but I know a few they got nailed by the IRS and had wage garnishment and worse due to their failure to plan. 50/20/30 rule - All your fixed expenses (food, rent, insurance, phone, etc) need to fit in 50% of your after tax pay. You need to be putting 20% back into savings and that leaves 30% to play with. If you can't get by doing this then its a bad financial mistake to do it. I will say that I took a "safer" route and don't regret a bit of it. I didn't live on a DZ and worked a "normal" job but that has now let me be able to fund all the jumping and tunnel time I want plus via the benefits of compounding interest I actually have a chance of having money at retirement. I too am in agreement that if the choices are Trump/Hillary then I can't vote for Trump at all. Sanders/Trump is scary for a list of other reasons but it would also be a driver in not voting at all or voting for a third party. I would much prefer to see a Kasich/O'Malley choice but it looks like that ship has sailed and neither of them will have a shot this time around. Militia takes over Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters
PhreeZone replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
Looking around online it looks like the "movement" is already making him out to be a rallying point and want to have a call to arms for all westerners against the government. I saw a few groups online with 5000+ members calling for an armed reply to this "government murder". Overall most of this is going to be a lot of hot air being blown around but I look for more people to start these "Government over throw" movements. http://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/community/hurst-euless-bedford_news/article55814145.html HURST Do you want to learn how to skydive without jumping from a plane? Soon, you will have a chance to do just that because Hurst is getting an iFLY Indoor Skydiving location where children and adults can experience the thrill of free-fall flight without getting on a plane. Austin-based iFLY is bringing the concept of indoor skydiving to Hurst. The company has another North Texas location in Frisco. iFLY, which is based in Austin, is bringing the concept of indoor skydiving to Hurst. The company has another North Texas location in Frisco. Last week, the City Council unanimously approved a site plan for iFLY to build in Hurst’s growing entertainment district, along heavily-traveled Northeast Loop 820. The entertainment district is about a half mile from North East Mall “I think a business like iFLY coming to Hurst with the other great cities around us really speaks to the direction the city is going in. We are certainly a vibrant community,” said Ashleigh Johnson, a spokeswoman for the city. Michelle Lazo, managing director of community development for the city, said iFLY is building near L.A. Fitness. Construction should start in the spring with the opening planned for the fall. Patrick Framel, vice president of development at iFLY Indoor Skydiving, said that the Frisco location is doing well and that he expects that customers will flock to the new location in Hurst as it is “well-placed” to serve the Dallas area. The iFLY location will also have a conference room for corporate events and a party room for children’s birthdays and other events. “We are a very family-focused business for entertainment. The company was founded by skydivers,” he said. The goal of iFLY is to let people experience the thrill of skydiving in a safe environment without the “craziness of jumping out of a plane,” Framel said. “I think that every kid has this dream that is inherent inside whether it’s flying like a bird or like Superman. Our motto is ‘3 to 103,’ ” he said. Customers learn to skydive inside a wind tunnel in a safe, air-conditioned environment. Before anyone can skydive, they must go through training with an instructor, wear a skydiving suit, a helmet and goggles. “This is not a ride; it’s an interactive experience,” Framel said. “When a person comes back [for another session], they will learn from their experiences. This is more like a sport than a ride,” he said. Biden is still dealing with the lose of his son last year and said that since the position of President needed 100% focus he did not want to run unless he was in the right place to do it. He was also pretty late to game in terms of financing and Hillary seemed to have a war chest that was going to be too large to fight against. Option being tossed out on some of the more left wing sites is that if Hillary loses Iowa and Hew Hampshire then you might see a few new names (Elizabeth Warren, etc) get tossed out there but its too late to file in a lot of states. Anyone have an update on these tunnels? I know the tunnel in Ontario and one of the iFly's in San Diego is about operational but anyone know what the status is of the Airborne tunnel? Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

The way most iFly's operate is that if you are buying 15 minutes you are going to be flying that 15 minute block over the course of an hour. Some times it might be flown with another person that has a block but most times its whuffos at Orlando. In that case you will end up doing either 2 minute or 2:30 minute rotations and will be sitting on the bench during the down time. The newer tunnels all have video on replay that you can watch during the down time but I don't think they ever put that back into Orlando. The instructors during these blocks are there primarily as safety spotters but if you talk to them ahead of your block most are willing to work on basic items (simple drills and exercises) with you but they have to be ready to help the next person in once your time is done so don't expect them to do any coaching or talking in between sessions. For your friend explain the goals before the time and I have seen a lot of coaches work on hand signals, body position and pulling in the tunnel despite it being "whuffo time". The best thing to do if you are needing some more coaching during these sessions is to hire a coach and to have them meet you at the tunnel to fly with you the entire time. This gets you full debriefs in between your flight time, and coaching out side the tunnel. There are some great coaches that already work at the tunnel that will come back and coach during their off time and there are also coaches not associated with the tunnel that will coach about any time you want them to. Here was one from 2014 but the video just turned up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6I-Xg-Ga1a8 Cop accidentally shoots his partner then blames the handcuffed suspect. Shot officer then shoots multiple times into the suspects back and chest and then the officers sit on the suspect until he passes away. The one machine is on really thick pile carpet and its already on those sliders and it just does not move that easy. The 45k is on concrete and needs to be wheeled into the carpeted room to make room for other items since it only gets used every couple of months for a project here and there. The sliders don't work well when you need to move it 20 feet or so. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

I need to make my Singer 45k and table more movable so I wanted to see if anyone has had any luck in finding decent wheels to fit a K leg table. I also would love to get my old 20U and table on wheels to move it around easier but it has the older style legs that was between the old cast iron style and the new K legs. They seem to be a hollow tube style design from the 50's I would guess with large 6 inch leveling foot pads. Anyone have any luck getting this type of table on wheels? In the US you will need to get the original manufacturers approval for this type of a design as well as having a master rigger do the work since it will involve modifications to the backpad and to the reserve container - neither of which I believe will be granted approvals. Issues with aftermarket modifications like this can include things like lines snagging on the corners of the pillows ripping the pillow out or causing entanglements, excess wear being generated to the container due to Velcro wearing against the flaps and a few other things like the foam compressing more than expected and then causing too little tension on the closing loop and then premature openings/horseshoes/etc. The work to do this may be as involved as opening up all the seams on the rig to be able to get to the locations to sew those velcro patches on and then having to reclose them. At the least you will need to have the bottom seam on the packpad opened as well as the reserve flaps unless the rigger decides to remove the AAD pocket in which the reinstall will need the flaps opened. Overall this work will then need approved via the rig maker, the FAA and the master rigger will end up charging you 300-500 dollars for all the work if it can even be done in the first place. Call the maker of your rig to see if they would allow this modification. Overall this would be a Really Bad Idea ™ in my opinion. Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com

Closest tunnels right now are probably the two in Houston or the two in Chicago that are 15-20 miles apart or so. The proposed iFly Boston is going to be in direct competition with Skyventure New Hampshire since different companies own them despite SVNH buying the tunnel from iFly years ago from my limited and possibly outdated understanding. The new iFly Ontario opening in SoCal will be within 30 miles of Skyventure Perris (different ownership) and is likely to steal a lot of its whuffo business just due to its location. San Diego has 3 proposed tunnels being of two different ownership and all will be in a 30 mile area. These will also be in a 120 mile distance of the Ontario and the Hollywood tunnels. That will put 6 tunnels in a 120 mile bubble if all are built. If Inflight builds it will be interesting to see if they go with an iFly design or if they go with an ISG design since iFly typically operates its own tunnels or sells them as franchises with a large portion of profits going back to iFly.
