Sorry to hear about that, but sounds like you were on top of it! I saw a student have to cut away this weekend. got into a flat spin, he cut away and I swear it threw him 50ft before his reserve popped out. props to the both of you for not losing your head.

Had my first chin landing saturday, brand new suit, mostly white. I was about 6 ft up, crosswind gust came and sent me shootin off to the side. hit the ground running, till I caught a ridge in the dirt. got about another 2 seconds of air time. then face first into the dirt. pissed me off, got dirt all over the new jumpsuit!!!! but still well worth it A good friend will bail you outta jail... 3:5:0 3= 1st @ 3a.m. (I got a booty call) 2nd @ 4.30pm after my jumps (made a booty call) 3rd @ 10pm my 4:30 took me out to dinner and drinks 5: great day for jumping @ Perris First jump it was negative eleven degrees @12k chilly but great jumps. 0: First jump on my new suit... bought a round for everyone in the bar... cost me $200.00 after tip. so nothing owed!!!!
