a "Yuppie" sky diver number. 1) you must be a sky diver! 2) you must be a dropzone.com member. 3) you must have an impeccable safety record 4) you must have an annual income of at leat $12,000.00-$1,000,000.00-$2,500,000.00 a year, or be in college. 5) you must own an automobile that "could" be considered a sports, or luxury automobile, even if it's a junker! 6) someone must have taken a "shot" at you for being a Yuppie, at least once in the last 6 months 7) you must conduct yourself with the utmost restraint, even under the heaviest of fire 8) you must give freely, and willingly to the newbies of our sport, giving back when you can 9) when you see a place where your "Yuppie" brother, or sister could, or is stumbling, you must render aid, if you can. 10) last, but not least, be safe, have fun, and when you can, lend a hand. 11) one last condition (i don't want anyone left out) if you come close to meeting, or exceeding the requirements, your in, and if a fellow Yuppie gives their blessing, they have the power to bestow a "Yuppie Sky Diver" number upon you! this is for fun, and hopefully we can help a few people along the way! **optional** 1) have matching gear 2) have some of the newest, most innovative sky diving toys 3) establish your own website this is all in fun, and not intended to be anything other than in the spirit in which it is offered. it all started with someone "cracking" on me for owning a sportscar, i therefore assigned myself a "Yuppie" skydiver number, and have since had request to be a "Yuppie" sky diver, and what the criteria was...here it is!

Rob: i'm "game" allright, but i do not look forward to it, i will take no pleasure in partaking in it. for me, as a 43 year old paernt and grandfather, the only reason i want to do it, is not as a vindictive action, but one of proaction to help create a more "even" playing field for fathers who care, don't get me wrong, there are those fathers out there who deserve every bit of what they get, BUT there are mother's out there as well who deserve the same treatment. sadly the courts always (98.99% of the time) award the mothers custody of "our" children, and it's more often than not the absolute wrong decision, but the court(s) generally have "tunnel vision" my youngest son just turned 18, and has one more year of high school left, he has no aspiritions of "reaching for the brass ring" as it were, "if only"..........i'm not angry, i'm deeply perplexed that our judicial system seems to be on "autopilot" and all decisons seem to be in favor of the female involved by "default" i never had a chance, and i divorced in 1986, i had all the proof in the world she wasn't fit, and never would be, now all these years later, no on has realized the mistake(s) BUT, i've got two children who will never be "the best that they can be" as a result. all they know is to be lazy, sit around and play games on tv, and "live off of the system" via insurance lawsuits, my income...etc...i could elobarate, but i shant at the present time, god, i gotta go "catch some air!" may the peace of the "blue skies" be with all of us, and remember, this is going to be a very busy holiday weekend, we've lost some very dear firends, brothers and sisters lately, please be safe, be aware of the sky, and the sky diver(s) around you, and don't become the next statistic, it's up to us as a skydiving "family" to "draw the line" be safe, take care, and god bless each and every one of you. --Richard-- "We Will Not Be Shaken By Thugs, And Terroist"

Rhino: relax, i know your pain, and the demons that are trying to infest your heart, have called on me as well. listen carefully, plan a vacation, a carnival cruise, say for 7 days, make plans to TCB before you leave. when the day and time arrives, go up on the bridge and slap the f%^k out of the captain, that way, there won't be any doubt in anybody's mind where you were. i can't tell you your not in for the fight of your life, because you are, my youngest just turned 18, and the impact the ex had on him is unreversable. one day....maybe the courts will "be able to see the forest for the trees" i just wish one of the judges would have to "live a day in the life" maybe we could get some justice. stay on an "even keel" bro. --Richard-- "We Will Not Be Shaken By Thugs, And Terroist"

hey guys: i just recently talked to Dan at Atair asking for a contact number for Jim Cazar, (it was provided for me in the shipping bag...i lost it) even though i know he was busy, he took the time to answer my questions, and disscuss my canopy and pilot chute size with me, and gave me Mr. Cazar's contact numbers. I then conversed with Mr. Cazar, we talked about the pilot chute, and bridle i wanted and i asked what form of payment he required (since i wanted it shipped overnight Fed-Ex) he told me not to worry about it, that generally people that do business with Atair are good people, and that Dan and himself have enjoyed a long and great relationship. in any event, my pc and bridle line will be here tomorrow!!

Quade: please do not take my words out of context, that is B.S. bro. the fact of the matter is this, hell yes, it's dangerous as hell, BUT, it can, and has been performed safely on a regular basis, if not, the stats would be inflated by far more than they are already are. your reply to my post was uncalled for, i'm no novice sky diver, and you know that. the fact of the matter is this: the sport is "dangerous" BUT, it can, and is performed every day in a "safe" manner. --Richard-- "We Will Not Be Shaken By Thugs, And Terroist"
