10 years jumping and 1,000+ jumps with no injuries except for a few very minor bruises and a slightly twisted ankle - most of that sub 100 jumps.

:12: 12 jumps at Netheravon this weekend - without a doubt the best weekend we've had all summer! Scorching hot and big blue skies for a change! debatably owed for following out (fully clothed) 2 men doing a naked jump! It was hilarious! And I was a bit naughty… I had their shorts down the front of my jumpsuit and deliberately landed over the other side of the runway in the 800+ jump landing area so they had to walk back without shorts!!!!! Yes! I finally got my 1000th jump, won a medal at the Nationals and was a part of my personal largest completed formation. Despite the weather, it’s been a great summer!

I live in Surrey and AFAIK there is no DZ in Hampshire! Check the BPA website to see what else is nearby although your best bet may well be Netheravon in Wiltshire, near Salisbury. hth!

I had a wide chest strap on my last rig and was adamant that I wanted the same on my new one. I was dubious, but was talked into having a 1” chest strap by the gear dealer and it was an excellent decision – I love it.
