After some discussion with Jim about what would be the right size, I ordered a JVX 96 in custom colors which is supposed to be ready in approximately 5 weeks from now. I believe Stew S and Nick B also ordered ones. AWESOME!, actually i knew you got a JVX, but i wasnt sure what size, you should see your distance run's inprove BIG TIME!

well said. if peeps would just flush ALL the fluids once a year, they would have ALOT less problems with a car in general. what is amazing is, not changing your oil can even cause parts of your car's suspension to fail! not changing oil causes oil leaks, oil leaks onto ANY rubber part of the car RUIN the rubber. not flushing fluids ie: power steering, coolant, trans fluid, brake fluid... causes moisture/debris,and or rust or just wear from the parts they are lubricating, to contaminate the fluid. which in turn causes leaks, which causes all sorts of other problems... peeps always think they are getting fucked, only because they know that there mechanic knows about there car and they dont. well that isnt the mechanic's fault. thats yours. if you dont trust the mecanic you are having your car worked on by, then you are at fault. dont blame them for your ignorance. educate yourself, or find a mechanic YOU trust... it seems it is the american way to ALWAYS blame someone else for there shortcomings.

Actually Paul and I have flown side by side on a 90 velo (stock) and a 92 JVX. We had no problems whatsoever flying together. In fact I remember Paul on his jvx and Brian (on a stock 103 velo) doing a nice synch'd landing together too. i guess it is just me then, maybe body position makes the jvx harder to fly with a velo? -
Sounds like you have a good lawsuit against those mechanics. to bad your lawyer wont show up in front of the judge, because he was too cheap to fix his car right! there are many reasons why you would need brakes flushed, the fluid gets black over time and isnt any good for the seals in the master cylender or wheel cylenders. also water contaminates brake fluid "very quickly" if it isnt in a sealesd system. you should educate yourself on cars, just a little. read some forums for a day or two. find a good shop, and mechanic. dealers arent bad, but you can get fucked just like you can get fucked anywhere. a good family run independant shop might be good for you. dont go to shops that have "fast" in the name or "budget". and dont spend $99 for four wheel brake job either..you will regret it.. lol..

its all about the money for you isnt it? have fun with that. "your not rich" ben and cary are, with the money they stole from alot of peeps. sunman, think in reality here. do you think that if you died and they tried to steel money from your family during a fundraiser, that i would give a shit? of course i would, and so would you. you making "dirty" money. no matter haow you look at it, it is dirty money. -
Oh, pheww....... that's a load off. For a minute there, I thought I was going to have to put on 50lbs of lead to get to your wingload. Anyone tell you that you are a walking statistic? (retorical) peeps in the uk dont know how to fly canopies, his profile is there just so he can spark debate.

i havent done the calculations either, but im also going to dissagree with you.. edit: not kellend think about it, if you can travel 1 mile in 60 seconds. and your flying jump run into the wind wich is 60 mph. for simplicity we will say 60 mph from alt all the way to the ground. and you spend 60 seconds in freefall at deployment time you will have travelled aprox 1 mile. if another group exits, we will call them freefliers. they spend 45 seconds in freefall and deploy at the same altitude as you, you think they travelled 1 mile also? no they would have traveled roughly 1/4 mile. so if these two groups exit at the same time and deploy at the same altitude, there is no reson you have to wait in the door because your deployment separation will be a 1/4 mile.. 1/4 mile is not a little, it is alot!

nope, it is very tame at the freefly festival. sunday morning we all get up for a church group session, then we streatch and do yoga in the feild, then make a couple jumps. -
The benefit is that it makes the event more difficult so that skill is more likely to trump luck. i believe that is true, but at the cpc level "entry level" things need to be a little more safe. peeps with 500 jumps or more can compete in the cpc. and with the way the rule stands, it is allowable to have 15mph downwind in "any event". and that can get VERY dangerous to someone who has 500-1000 jumps.
