  1. if im exiting at 2000 ft i leave the riser covers open. also i leave the main pin flap open "sometimes" depends on the plane. if you know you going low before you pack then leave the nose exposed and clover the slider while pulling it tawords the tail. also dont really roll the tail to contain the nose just fild the fabric over once.... although ive exited from 2000 ft without doing any of this... most of this will help it open a little faster,.. but also it will help keep the bag from spinnning when the pilot chute pulls out the bag.. creating line twist... mostly just lets the canopy get out of the bag quicker..

my poor snowboard is sitting in the closet all depressed and lonely cause i live in ga and have no money to go ride!...
  3. ohh ya this is talk back
  4. aww i see we get into it... it is the job of the tech to let the cust know what is wrong with there car.. it is the cust decision to fix it or not.. now this thread is going off track..... but nevermind i will shut my mouth.. dont want to get bytch slapped by a greenie...
  5. this is why the dealer is there to fix f'ups because doods like this think it is just another thing... and f- it all up!
  6. that is because it is an audi correct? if it is an audi that sounds about right... it is a little more involved... if it is not an audi then well that seems a little steep
  7. like i said... dig like your life depends on it... hahaha but you can stall it .. but on the toggles it is much less likely than if you were on your rears...
  8. whatever dood.... get over the anti dealer thing freak... besides travis.. where do aftermarket shops send the car when they cant figure it out? ever heard... maam "take it to the dealer"!
  9. the best thing you can do is discuss it with them... just dont get mad and dont get on a power trip.. it is there drop zone and they can make whatever rules they want...
  10. what kind of car some are 4 wheel allignment and some are 2 wheel... shouldnt be more than say 60$ depends on the car though.. some are more intense to get straight than others... goto the dealer if you want it done right... make sure they supply you with a printout with the before and after specs.. you might not be able to read the specs but you could take it to any tech and they can tell you if it was done right or not by looking at the printout if it is an audi like stacy says.. then definatly goto the dealer an audi's allignment is way different than most cars... and some of them take special equipment to allign
  11. this makes me cringe!but is soo true.. ragdolling.. but you got to fly the canopy....
  12. i didnt start freeflying till i had about 900-1000 jumps.... i got kinda behind the curve... but when i started there werent any freeflyers.... so it was difficult to learn anything,..... but i think im doing ok now..... not a pro but i wont kill anyone..... although somtimes i feel like a target
  13. if your too low in the corner well then you got to dig out of it... preforably on the toggles.. although doing carving turns and starting higher and slowly building speed gives you the time and the ability to steepen or lessen the dive accordingly to prevent this from ever happening.....
  14. you see the irony in this dont you?? are you keeping us here? or are we keeping you?? you feel trapped dude? get a girlfreind or somthin
  15. damn such hostility.... hehehehe dan your the man... you gunna bee swoopin with the best soon too.... just do it right...

  17. this statement is soo tru.. it is even more sometimes HOW they are taught..
  18. How much is too much? Is it suspect if it sticks out at all? I have two slinks that I keep repositioning, but there's always just a little bit of corner on the tab that juts out of the riser. I'm trying to slowly train the slinks, but with my risers, it's pretty hard. I hope I'm just being anal, and it's OK if just a little corner shows, but maybe not?? if you have soft links of any kind i would tak them down regardless of weather your having a problem or not.. it is real easy to do... next time your rig is unpacked have your rigger do it... should only take a minute or so.
  19. You must already be under the influence of crack ritas... heheh.. Come to the boogie and we'll see who ends up being who's pack bitch... uhhohh.... should i be scared? or hey... this might be fun.... is lyle still up there? i might have to come smack him around a bit..
