Well apparently, as I was discussing with another person earlier,being a big chested,VS wearing,nympho maniac, college co-ed with a hood piercing isn't enough encouragement.Want proof? I'm still SINGLE! this would mean we just need a place!

i think it is easy to have confidence in somone when your in the "first jump student" situation... i dont think it is very hard to get a students confidence.. because they reallydont know any way otherwise. exept this guy is taking them up.... now me on the other hand is easy for for to have confidence or even easier not to have confidence in another instructor because i have the experiance.... wich in turn works for the student.... if i dont have confidence in another instructor then im not going up with them.... but in all reality if the student for some reason does not have confidence in there instructor or instructors .. then by all means they should ask for different instructors.

yes this is tru and also said idiot has to find another rated aff instructor willing to go with them on the first few dives.. thank god.

but you got to take into the fact that.. if an idiot gets there aff rating.. that doesnt change the fact that there still an idiot.. just an idiot with an aff rating... and this does happen......

geese.... i just read this entire thred.. cmon.. it is a 1.0:1 wing loading... it is an excellend wing loading for a beginner to learn on.... what is the big deal about a 125 # girl jumping a 150 with 25 jumps or more... i personnally would be more concerned with her under a 230 than a 150.. angella. you seem to be taking the right course of action. good luck at the class and i hope you learn alot. dont argue with canopie nazies it will go on forever.. nat saying that im not one also but in my opinion you still on the conservative side.. even more so because your taking the course... sory i got off subject too.. later Mark

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that has this fear. this used to be huge with me.. over time and with experiance it will compleatly go away.. no worries...

RAWA it looks like it is carbon fiber... it is lighter than a bonehead helmate,,.. and it looks like the material is a little thinner... but in no way do i think any of this is a bad thing.. i love mine and my roomate loves his.. every person that ive talked to that has one loves theres.... it was difficult to order though.. i had to get a freind that spoke portuguese to order it for me... the price was good and it comes with the camera box already on it.... i beleive you can get it without the camera box but am not sure.... the streangth of the material is of no concern to me.. it seems pleanty strong enough... -

you shouldnt have a problem going to a higher performance canopie at a 1.3wing loading from where your at...... but then again i dont watch your landings..... ask around your dz to some pilots and the instructors... you may not get "optimal" performance... but that doesnt mean you wont get very good performance from it...

if you want to spend the money on a protrack ota neptune i dont see why not.... they are a good way to keep track of your skydives.... i dont know your financial situation... but remember you got to buy a cypress and a rig and a main and an alti. and a jumpsuit and well you get the idea.. i log all my jumps with a protrack..... just because im too lazy to do it with a pen and paper.... if you have the money then do it..... hell... why not?

after you use the lighter fluid .. soak the rig overnight in the bathtub with a mild laundry detergent.... to get the lighter fluid off... or you could use body solvent... found at most auto body repair shops.. it will do the same thing as zippo lighter fluid..
