well the cypress fires at 750 ft roughly that is the automatic activation device used as a last ditch effort... i would say 500-750ft .. wet parachute...well ive got my parachute soaking wet in the swoop pond and took it out and let the excess water run off it then packed it up and jumped it 10 minutes later..... i jumped it to dry it out..... so ya you can pack and jump a wet parachute..

yes ... one... and not agt the swoop pond... like you said.. maybee you should reaserch before you post that... it was a guy that come down from illinois i think.... and he had a hard landing in the d license landing area just next to where the beer line is for the student landing area.. it was not too far from the building.....

ya it is kinda screwey where the pond is at asc. you have to be fairly accurate in what your doing. and also have to be heads up on where your going.... but if you can nail the pond there consistantly it make going to other ponds easy....

no i dont think there has been any deaths at asc swoop pond.... and also there is grass that has been planted... and ya ive heard pilots ask about what that was... puddle?... hardley.... so chuckey.. let me know when you get down to monroe.. i will have to make a trip over there... it is the same distance from my house to goto monroe, asc, or thomaston. i havent been to monroe in a few years. but thomaston is always fun. as is asc.

ya you should have come... the hotell general maneger shut us down WAY!!!! early though... like 11:20 PM.... due to noise ordanance.... i had about 8 hours of music with me and played for like 1 1/2 hours........

your right..... if you can land there you can land anywhere.... makes for good canopy pilots... like j rock here ... couple more years and hans will have to gain some more wingloading....

its accuraccy... tj knows his canopy well he is just putting it on the stall edge in that video to shut it down durring an accuraccy swoop. he is doing it intentionnally....

no resistance... no air.... you cant.. unless you can fall really really slow... if you take resistance. "air" out of the equation. then density does not matter when it comes to the speed it will fall....
