    Great point Zen - last few times I've been home to Illinois it just blows me away at how many SUVs there are on the road. Me, I use mine here in Colorado, and its a Jepp GC not a SUV IMHO... But wtf do you need a huge ass SUV for in Illinois of all places?     I've had beer discussions about this for YEARS. I know how badly my own father drives, he just plain doesn't pay attention when he's in a car and he is only 57. I honestly think it should be a yearly thing say for 60 on. No offense to those 60 and older, but there has to be proof out there showing that motor skills can and do deteriorate after a certain age. I can't count the number of times I've seen an elderly drive do something because they weren't paying attention. I couldn't be in more agreement with you Aggie. TEST THEM.     Apples and oranges. My grandma was thrown out of her car for not having her seatbelt on. They found her 300 yards away from the wreckage, she died after 9 weeks in not so cheap intensive care.     True the odds are low - but hell, I haven't been involved in a car accident yet and I've been driving for 12 years now. The odds are getting higher as more jumpers are being brought into the sport - don't fool yourself of that fact.     I would personally welcome your input - there are quite a few skygods running around my DZ that in no way shape or form like ANY fing advice thrown at them ever...     I tend to when I'm on bigger ways with people I don't know. I don't on Freakfly jumps or small RW jumps where I know whom I'm in the air with. I would disagree that its a waste of time and energy as it takes me less than a second on bigger RW loads and it has saved my ass twice from dumping right in someones airspace that tracked right behind me or right over me (i know i know, flat track better man!!). -- (N.DG) "If all else fails – at least try and look under control." --

    Mad John is one of the friendliest organizers I've ever had the plesaure of being around. I miss the good old days at Lost Prarie hanging around him. If anyone sees him tell him Beavis says hello. BTW - There was a lonely three way going on at my home DZ, I walked by and asked them if they wanted to make it a four way. Grumpy here at our DZ just flat out said "NO." Not "No thanks, come find us after this load though, or this is a coach jump" - Just plain NO. I think that type of shit is lame.
