Hey Nick, How about "Gods". "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Thanks Nick. Here is a pic from back in the day. I did finally go to Military Freefall School back in 1987 after I got to a Recon unit. Didn't want anything to do with the T-10 or MC1-1B after that. Joy, I was only six back in 1972. I'm going to fight this getting old thing tooth and nail. Just like ,MUFF,MUFF,MUFF-He's my hero! Go Johnny! Well, tomarrow it will be twenty years since I made my first parachute jump as a young Marine at Ft. Benning. Looking back I never thought I would be freefalling objects the same height as those towers. Doesn't seem like twenty years. Damn, does this mean I'm one of the old guys. I have a low volume foot as it's called and the Han Wags fit me great. They fit even better when you take the $2.00 insoles out and put in a pair of "Superfeet" insoles. These are great footbeds and worth the $30.00 price tag. ( Hint : KMonster) Most outdoor stores have them. www.superfeet.com if someone would be so kind to give me a clicky.

It was 5 degrees here this morning. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Hey Ray, For me personally, off headings seem to be more of an issue of what container I'm jumping. Might sound dumb but my log book doesn't lie. (Well, maybe on the delay I took) As of now my "Vision" gives me dead on openings most of the time. My other velcro rig and my pin rigs are not as consistant. Again, I'm talking on go and throws or delays of less than a second. I'm still kind of new to jumping pin rigs slider off so my packing and closing of pin rigs may not be up to par yet. I would guess that the large pack tray and ease of use are the reasons that I get such great on heading preformance when I jump my "Vision". Or...Dennis is a f#*king genius and designed the perfect rig. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Hey Pete, Good to hear from you. Planning on Norway in August. After that I don't know. That big stack on your web site looks like a lot of fun!! I might have to invite myself if they do it again. C-Ya Dave "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Ok, I usually bug the piss out of Tom about this but I thought I'd put it out there to get some peoples thoughts. I jump a 285 and a 293. The guy I jump with most of the time jumps a 205 and a 220. Other than the fact he opens higher and his canopy pressurizes faster than mine he for sure has better on heading preformance than I do. Mine is not bad but there is always room for improvement. Sorry, I forgot to say for 1 second delays and less. More so on go and throws. Anything after say 1.5 second delay and my on heading preformance goes up.

Sorry, the 100 took a dunk in a well known fjord awhile back. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Has anyone found a camcorder (Mini DV) that won't go out of focus so bad during the openings for the slider off jumps? We have been using the SONY PC100 and PC105 with the floating lens. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Hi KT, I see you have been busy at work!

Make sure you add the Gargoyle, Medusa, and the wsX-treme by Morpheus Technologies under BASE containers. www.baserigs.com Also I think you mean Flik not Flick. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Although I have two Gargoyles which I love I'll have to agree with Tom. I still grab my "Vision" on the sketchy jumps. But I have to say that I'm kind of new to the pin rigs on the low stuff. Been working on that. SKETCHY- A term that 554 uses when you probably shouldn't be jumping something that your about ready to jump. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Sounds like Bridge Day 1996. That was fun! "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

I normally take my multi's off for slider off. I have not noticed any better preformance with the multi on for the short delays. I know Per Flare had some issues with the multi a while back. Curious on what his thoughts are on the multi now. Per Flare are you out there? "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Did both the Fox and the Flik have the multi or just the single attachment point? "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"
-
Just curious now that the Flik has been out awhile how people like them as compared to the Fox. Although my Flik out flies and lands better than my Foxes I'm still a die hard Fox fan. I think it's a security blanket issue. "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"

Although I have two pin rigs, I always use my "Vision" for the more knarly jumps. I've never met anyone who didn't like their "Vision" so far. But trying to find the guy to build you one is a bitch! My two cents 554,whats your opinion of the "Vision" "When it comes to BASE, I'll never give advice, only my opinion"
