When did people at manifest become attractive? They get the first opportunity (and most frequent opportunity) to hump the new skybabes leg. ~La La Gang Member #2~

ONE of the great things about Tecumseh is our huge landing area with a lot of outs. The Otter holds about 23 people so although you would be riding up in a plane with more people that is about the only time you would have to deal with them. As a student you get out last and pull higher. We have a separate landing area for students so during your landing pattern under canopy you don't come anywhere near the other people on the load. I love our Otter because I feel really safe in it, it doesn't take the whole runway to get off the ground, it has a lot of power. Although you have started your training in a 182, I can guarantee that you will love turbine aircraft!! ~La La Gang Member #2~

I'm not sure where you are located exactly but you could try Skydive Tecumseh or Napoleon Skydiving Center. Tecumseh is my home DZ but I love the people at either dropzone and they both do AFF. The Instructors at both DZ's are fantastic and are really skilled. Tecumseh has a Super Fast Otter and Napoleon has a really nice Caravan. I think they are both great places to jump! We start up April 1, hope to see you out there! ~La La Gang Member #2~

I have a 2 piece by FireFly and LOVE it. It is so easy to take off the top to pack and then if you want to go up in just your pants, you can. It looks just like a one piece when you are wearing it and I have never had any trouble with the top riding up. ~La La Gang Member #2~

You should definitley come check it out! We have some great freeflyers at Tecumseh, a couple of them have been part of state records. We have a huge landing area, awesome plane, friendly people...and the list goes on. We try to have bonfires every weekend...unless we have nothing left to burn and we party at the trailers every night. There is camping available and have showers onsight and town is just a short 5 minute drive away if you actually need to leave the DZ for something. We have a TON of fun things planned for the season, as things are confirmed I will be sure to let everyone know! Oh and what's up Countryscrub....no love for me? ~La La Gang Member #2~

This SUNDAY! BASE and Skydiving on Discovery!
AntiPinkChrissy replied to AggieDave's topic in The Bonfire
I thought it was a pretty good show, they had some great footage. The part I really liked is how some of them backed out of a jump because they felt it was above their limitations and how they talked about how they still got nervous before certain jumps. Maybe this will help people realize that they don't have to do something just because everyone else is doing it and it is ok to wait for the right conditions to make a jump (BASE or skydiving) ~La La Gang Member #2~ -
Actually canopies of a smaller size DO NOT react that same as larger canopies loaded at the same wing loading. A Stilleto 120 loaded at 1:1 will react differently than a Stilleto 190 loaded at 1:1. Way to go that your manifest person caught this potentially dangerous situation. The jumper should have been more informed about the gear they were about to jump. ~La La Gang Member #2~

XF2 against Airlocked canopies....
AntiPinkChrissy replied to rhino's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Hey Rob, I have a Samurai 105 that I absolutley love, but sorry can't give you any feedback on the swooping characteristics. I totally recommend getting a demo from Big Air, I don't know if you remember Andy from Tecumseh or not, but he jumps either a 95 or a 105 and is now down at Skydive SoBe. Also, Sporto may be able to give you some feedback, he jumped my Sam 105 for a couple of weeks and was getting killer swoops out of it. CYA Chrissy ~La La Gang Member #2~ -
How necessary are booties?
AntiPinkChrissy replied to Nightingale's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I would definately get them, I got them on my first suit when I had about 20-30 jumps. They take a jump or 2 to get use to but totally worth it. Me and a friend ordered our first jumpsuit together, I got booties and she didn't. Later, she really wished she would have gotten booties. ~La La Gang Member #2~ -
