1. Don't call 1-800-Skyride. Make certain you are speaking directly to a local dropzone when you make your reservation. If you tell us where you live I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction.

I think you are missing the point. If you could be there a week later you could spend some of your time jumping at The Farm and some of your time jumping at the St.Patricks Boogie. The Farm Otter will be flying south about an hour and meeting up with two other Otters and about 300 skydivers. Hijack over. Have fun at The Farm. Great place,Great people.

If you look at the tread that was just posted they do the same thing in the skydiving industry on a national level.

Dave, They really don't wonder, nor do they care. They just come here to stir the pot and ask us to please "stop the hating" That is the self absorbed persons way of saying we know we are wrong but we don't plan to change so you might as well get over it.

Throughout my event planning I have traveled to many different airports. You would not believe how many of them will fight tooth and nail to keep skydiver off of their airport. Some just don't want anything new going on but many have stories of the skydivers that were there in the 70s or 80s that could not behave, acted like assholes both on the airport and around town. There are many that remember the skydiver involvement in the drug running in the 80s. So yes, they are doing long lasting damage to the sport of skydiving everytime they get thrown off of an airport. They can try to blame the people here that speak out against them but when it's all said and done, If they were good neighbors the airports would not see the need to get rid of them. The fact that they act like assholes, Jr. high ones at that, just help to seal their fate.

I can tell you without a doubt that if Cary bought one of the DZs that I frequent I would never step foot on it again.

Speaking of hotels. Everyone be sure to mention the skydiving event when you make your reservations.

The Otters are belted for 23. If there are others to fill the plane we could do make it a formation load but it will be a few bucks more.

Thanks J. We can use the yellow tent at the top of the hill.If we can get it down there early the tent guys have these neat gas powered drivers.
