Thats not long,Walt writes long stuff. I agree.Alot of DZOs could learn alot for the attitude Hans has and how The Farm is run.I believe if you treat the people right you won't have to worry about the dollars so much. One thing LisaMarie forgot is if your not into one scene at The Farm there is enough deversity that you can be assured there is something else going on.Alot of DZs have lost that IMO because they have gotten cliquey(sp) and don't welcome new people the way they use to. . -

Jay,be sure to bring an FM reciever to plug into your system.You will be able to recieve manifest during the day on RoamingDZ Radio.I have the system better designed than last year.We got screwed up last year when we muved manifest to the flight line. .

Make that three bands.Big Pretty and the Red Rockets BPandRR.comwill be there on Sat. night.I will have the big tent again this year.The bands will go under there.I'll work on my end on some sort of riser also. Robbie,split that e-mail,it still didn't come through .

I'm not sure if it's possible, but I had hoped that we might could pull this off with a single CASA (28-30 way with 1 video?), largely because it would certainly be easier to grab a single CASA than trying to schedule 2 planes for (X) amount of jumps. With everything else going on, trying to get 2 planes at a time might end up being a deal breaker. Thoughts anyone? Blue 111- Jeff I was just looking for a 30-way for the DZ.com record.Anything after that will be working for the State Record. .

I love this idea...Chris, set up a schedule for these "practice/qualification" dives...There's some people on the list who could benefit. There will be plenty of practice dives. .

I talked to Jay last night.He wants at least on of the small tents for the poker game so he can control the crowd around the table. Jay you can either keep collecting and get another tent or someone else collect for the next one.I only want to collect money from the tent leaders so there is no conflict and everyone knows they got what was paid for. .

We went through this just a week or so ago.But as for your three magazines.Why don't you take two of them and give them away or take them to your dentist office or something. USPA might not be the perfect organization,few rarely are,but recent skydiving news is littered with stories of airports trying to get rid of dropzones.While USPA may not have been able to help in every case,you can bet your ass there would be more of those stories if we didn't have an organization looking out for our interests. .

I don't think you will need a pilot chute.I think all you will need to do it make a few knots at the end.The pilot chute will break the roll.I would also do this over an unpopulated area in case you drop it and it does not un roll .

I wouldn't say that about one jump but if something happened to me I don't think I would trade the last seven years to make it go away. .

I'm pretty sure that i am not the only one who knew which camera he was talking about.I disagree with your logic because like it or not people do THINK about having a camera on and getting THE shot. As for your last comment,I think your post would have been better without it. .
