My guess is the wax protects the lines from the slider grommets and the heat produced during opening. .

I continued to visit the DZ most weekends.My first advise would be to get off the pain meds as quick as you can.Then don't over do it when you feel like starting to do things. .

How did you do it?How long in the hospital?What type of fractures? I fractured T-12 with a 30% compression a few years ago.It really sucked.I don't recommend it to anyone. .
