This is incorrect.For the most part the FAA could care less as long as you are not jumping over a heavily populated area or over a large crowd. .

Please review the list of aircraft attending this boogie.Most of the big ways will be 20 or 30 ways.Any larger ways will be late on Sat. and on Sunday.I don't think it will be a problem. .

Brian you rock man.I wish we could pull something like this off for Dublin but the state of Georgia pretty much sux when it come to dealing with fireworks.I think you found this out last year.Everyone,if I'm not mistaken Brian is paying for this out of his own pocket,if I'm wrong please corect me,so don't be afraid to throw a few bucks his way if you like what he does. . -
OK Spence, this answers some of my questions and creates others. I was going to post about an organizer. I am willing to organize anything up to about a 15 way, but this is out of my league. (I'd still be willing to help if needed.) If one (or two) organizers is needed for this attempt, that would take them away from organizing the other jumpers (or vice versa). That brings us back to needing our own dedicated organizer. One other thing. In the same damn breath you asked who was going to be in charge and also started suggesting RULES! Unless YOU are taking charge of the record (since I'm sure you have nothing else to do) then quit trying to influence whoever will be in charge! Now BUZZ OFF!!! Grins- Jeff You can be in charge of gathering the jumpers and i will get someone to help you organize the dive.I will also sit around and think up random rules as I see fit. .

I'll try to pay the weather bill early this year Dave. On a side note the other thread reminded me of something.Not everyone reads the forums here on DZ.com.I know it is hard to believe.Although I'm sure your friends will find out about Dublin,people need time to plan.Talk to your friends at your DZ and let them know you are going to Dublin.We can easily have lift power for 5 to 6 hundred so spread the word. .

Most of the places I jump the jumpers have whoever they want pack for them.They tried the first come method once but no one would own up to shitty pack jobs and I quit using the packing concession.I like to know who is packing mine. .
