    Come on guys this is not what it's all about. While y'all are bickering here on DZ.com,in between the PMs about flotation gear,reserve repacks,USPA cards,directions and hotel rooms,I am trying to load a half a ton of shit in my truck to help make you're stay at the beach a little more enjoyable.Lets start an argument about the best way to get there now. .

    Flotation gear is a small life vest that is stored in a pouch and has a CO2 cartridge that will inflate it if needed. .

    Oh one more thing.Please DO NOT show up with an expired USPA card and out of date reserve.Please take the time now to check those things.You are only going to cause yourself a lot of grief if you show up expired and or out of date.Do you really want your reserve repacked on the beach. .

    Ok kids,Several people have inquired about the water gear issue.Here is what is in the sim. In the SIMs manual section 2.1 K 5. All skydivers wearing a round main or reserve canopy and all students must wear flotation gear when the intended exit, opening, or landing point is within one mile of an open body of water (an open body of water is defined as one in which a skydiver could drown). http://uspa.org/publications/SIM/2006SIM/section2.htm#21k As you can see the SIM does not require flotation gear however I have 1700 jumps and every beach jump I have ever done I have worn flotation gear.I look at it as a common sense thing.No offense anyone.I know everyone thinks they will never need it but Krisanne(NWflyer) can tell you other wise. Don't use this as a reason not to come.If you don't have flotation gear I'm sure we can find some for you to use.If you completely object to wearing it due to religious convictions we will look at this on a case by case basis. .

    Travis ordered some through Tom. PsychoBob is bringing it I think.Everyone either needs water gear or needs to be able to borrow some.One year we had to use life vests under our rigs.Not comfortable but cheaper.The flotation device needs to be USCG(United States Coast Guard) approved.You'll thank me when you don't drowned. .

    When I want through AFF you didn't get to pick who you jumped with.I dought you can there either.If you let the students pick their instructors the assholes would never get any work. .

    I got a call yesterday from someone worried about the number of people that are going to show up.I say again.Bring your friends.This Kingair can fly at least 5 loads an hour.You will get all of the jumps you want.I'm loading up all the stuff today and leaving out in the morning.I will try to keep an eye on the internet when we get down there in case anyone needs an info.Bring lots of shade,bring tarps,bring lots and lots of water.See some of you on the beach tomorrow and everyone else on Saturday. .

    What he said and all of the cool kids will be there.And we'll have steaks and Sea food on the beach Sat. night.And...and...and well where else would you want to be?And if you stay home you know you will not get any thing done cause you will just sit around and wish you were in Destin at the beach.And...and...and BEACH JUMPS!!! .
